In an interview with a local program, Dutch legend Sneijder said that from the moment Ten Hag made the decision to abandon Ronaldo, it was the beginning of his downfall at Manchester United.
Speaking on Dutch TV Veronica Offside, Sneijder said: "Do you want me to tell you what Ten Hag did wrong? He thinks it's good for him, but it's the opposite, and everybody in the locker room is going to think, 'Is this guy crazy?'
Asked if Ten Hag would be sacked at the end of the season, Sneijder said: "Of course, he already knows he has to leave, but he won't quit on his own. If I were him, I would stay in this position (waiting to be fired). ”
