After spraying, we just need to put this plastic bag directly on the potted plant and wrap the whole potted plant, and that's it. As long as it is left overnight, the pests on the green plants will be eliminated, the method is simple and practical.
In addition to killing insects, a plastic bag on a potted plant has two other wonderful uses.
One: Moisturize the plant.
In our daily lives, we may need to go on a business trip or travel, so at this time, we will be away from home for a long time. However, if the green plants at home are not watered for a long time, they are prone to wilting. When we encounter this problem, we can solve it by simply putting a plastic bag on the green plant. After the plastic bag is covered, we use a toothpick to make a few small holes in the plastic bag. The purpose of this operation is to make the water of the plant volatilize more slowly, and the plastic bag can have a moisturizing effect. And by making small holes in the plastic bag, the plants can continue to breathe normally. In this way, even if the plant is not watered for a long time, the plant will remain moist and will not wilt.
Two: Promote the flowering of plants.
The flowers and plants we grow may also experience slow growth and late flowering. At this time, we can also choose to put a plastic bag on the top of the potted plant, the bag is better black and opaque, it will be better. To ensure that the plants are able to breathe freely, we prick several small holes in the bag. These pores act as "windows" for the plants, allowing them to absorb fresh air while maintaining the right amount of humidity. This method is especially suitable for short-day flowers, such as kalanchos and crab claw orchids. The best time to wrap is between 5 or 6 p.m. and 8 a.m. every day, during which the potted plants are wrapped in plastic bags to simulate a more suitable growing environment.
