At the same time, the trade union of the hospital took the initiative to guide the majority of members and employees to participate in democratic management and democratic supervision, continuously strengthened its own construction, improved its organizational functions, effectively did practical things for employees, strengthened cultural construction, achieved remarkable results, and made positive contributions to the high-quality development of the hospital.
Vice President Fan Changlong read out the "Decision on Commending Advanced Collectives and Outstanding Individuals of the Trade Union in 2023". He extended warm congratulations to the six advanced collectives of the "May Day Labor Award" and the nine advanced individuals of the "May Day Model Workers" who were commended, and expressed high respect for their hard work and outstanding contributions. In his speech, President Li Xiufeng emphasized that in recent years, the trade union of Huaihai Hospital has always adhered to the concept of "people-oriented", firmly established the awareness of the overall situation, worked closely around the center, and gave full play to its own functions. Liu Jingcun, secretary of the party group of the Yucheng County Trade Union, emphasized in his speech that the report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the 18th National Congress of the Chinese Trade Union have pointed out a new direction for the work of the trade union and put forward new tasks and requirements. First, trade union cadres at all levels need to deeply understand and fully implement it, take strengthening the ideological guidance of employees as an important task, actively develop whole-process people's democracy, earnestly safeguard the rights and interests of employees, and serve employees wholeheartedly.
