This morning (May 1), the 2024 Jingcheng Rural Commercial Bank Cup "Shenma Xing" half marathon started in Jingcheng County.
At half past seven in the morning, the 2024 Jingcheng Rural Commercial Bank Cup "Horse Xing" half marathon started. As the guests fired their guns together, 1,600 half marathon runners and 2,200 healthy runners ran on the Mianmanhe Marathon track through the starting point of the intersection of Shihe Road and Jingkuang Road, passing through Longshan Park, Boulevard Compound, Jingkuang Road, Shanshan Avenue and other sections, enjoying the passion and joy of the event. The runners can not only feel the romantic beauty of the Mianmanhe Wetland in May, but also appreciate the natural scenery of the Jingcheng Mountain Area and the historical heritage of the ancient city.
This year's 2024 Jingcheng Rural Commercial Bank Cup "Horse Xing" Half Marathon is the second half-marathon long-distance running event hosted by Jingcheng County after 2023. This year's theme is "Happy Horses, Happy Wells", aiming to provide a good place for sports activities and family play for the general public and friends on May Day. It is expected that it will become a regular event held in Jingcheng County during the May Day period in the future.
The race consists of two categories: half marathon (21.0975 km) and health run (8 km), with a total of 3,900 runners from all over the country participating.
The organizers of this tournament are committed to creating a "happy well" play experience and a model of high participation in the event. In order to make the contestants and their families happy, special games such as riddle quizzes, brain teasers and golden egg smashing were set up along the Mianmanhe Course, and rich cultural performances were arranged in front of Longwangshan Park, Luozhuang Observation Deck, Yanfeng Parking Lot and 5 kilometers of points, including Jingcheng characteristic intangible cultural heritage performances and various cultural performances. From April 30th to May 5th, all contestants can enjoy a free admission discount for Cangyan Mountain, Sendai Mountain, Jinshan, Qinhuang Ancient Post Road and Yujia Stone Village Scenic Area with their original ID cards and race number bibs. Relatives of athletes and visitors can enjoy interactive games and unleash their holiday passion.
