1. Timing
Although yellowtail is hardy, it is similar to that of carp, and the water temperature is still higher than that of crucian carp. We all know that the changes in fish conditions in spring are regular, crucian carp is the most cold-tolerant, and the temperature of small water surface is the fastest, so spring fishing for crucian carp from small water surface before and after stinging starts. The large water surface heats up more slowly, and many fish are not as hardy as crucian carp, so wild fishing on larger water surfaces usually requires a later solar term. Therefore, from the perspective of timing, it is more appropriate to catch yellowtail in the wild around the vernal equinox. Yellowtail foraging is inseparable from moss, and if the light transmittance is not good, there is no moss at the bottom of the water, so yellowtail belongs to fish that need both strong and weak light.
