On May 1, under the guidance of the Chinese Ice Hockey Association and the Qinghai Provincial Sports Bureau, sponsored by the National Youth Sports Federation, and hosted by the Xining Sports Bureau, the 4th China Youth Ice Hockey League (Xining Division) was held at the Ice Hockey Hall of the Xining Civic Center in Qinghai Province. The competition set up three competition groups: U8, U10 and U12, with a total of 10 teams from Xining, Hangzhou, Shenyang, Wenzhou, Urumqi and other cities, and 184 ice hockey players and coaches participating. The competition lasts for 4 days, and the first team in each category will advance to the national finals.
Ice hockey has the dual attributes of ice sports and ball games, combining speed, strength, skill, wisdom and courage, and is known as the "game of the brave". Through the promotion and development of the previous three editions, the league has now become a highly influential youth cross-regional ice hockey event in China.
