1. Zeng Xianzhi's growth experience
Zeng Xianzhi, formerly known as Zeng Xianying, was born in a scholarly family in Changsha County, Hunan Province, and is a descendant of Zeng Guofan. Influenced by the revolutionary tradition since childhood, Zeng Xianzhi set up a grand ambition to fight for the cause of national liberation all his life. Under the influence of his family, Zeng Xianzhi has established the ideal and belief of serving the country since he was a child, and is determined to become a useful person to the country.
Tsang's father, Zeng Jize, was an enlightened scholar who attached great importance to the education of his children, and he often admonished Zeng to be ambitious, distinguish between right and wrong, and not be greedy for vanity. Under the teachings of her father, Zeng Xianzhi gradually formed an independent, brave and resolute character, which also laid a good psychological foundation for her later revolutionary career.
2. Zeng Xianzhi's revolutionary process
After studying at St. John's University in Shanghai and teaching at Jinling University in Nanjing, Zeng began her career as a female teacher. Later, Zeng Xianzhi chose to resign from his job as a teacher and devote himself to the revolutionary cause, becoming one of the early members of the Communist Party of China.
In 1924, Zeng Xianzhi was admitted to the Whampoa Military Academy at that time, becoming the first batch of female cadets in China and the only female party member cadet at that time. During his study and life at the Whampoa Military Academy, Zeng Xianzhi became acquainted with Ye Jianying, and was soon attracted by his revolutionary ideals and noble qualities, and the two fell in love and became husband and wife.
In the following years, Zeng Xianzhi and Ye Jianying joined the revolution together, participated in the Northern Expedition and the War of Resistance against Japan, and fought bravely for the cause of national independence and people's liberation. In the course of the revolution, Zeng Xianzhi went through hardships and was arrested and tortured by the enemy twice, but she always adhered to her revolutionary beliefs, did not give in, and showed a tenacious and unyielding revolutionary quality.
3. Zeng Xianzhi's dedication
After the victory of the revolution, Zeng Xianzhi did not rest on his laurels because of his life experience and family, on the contrary, she became more deeply aware of her responsibilities and missions as a member of the Communist Party, and resolutely chose to stay in the army to work and make her own contribution to the victory of the Liberation War.
At work, Zeng Xianzhi was loved and trusted by the leaders and comrades-in-arms with full enthusiasm and rigorous work style, and became an excellent political worker, making positive contributions to the development of the cause of liberating women throughout the country.
It is worth mentioning that although Zeng Xianzhi is Ye Jianying's wife, she has always maintained a low-key and simple style of life, never talked about her identity and status, and did not seek her own selfish interests because of her husband's relationship.
