A few days ago, we obtained the exterior renderings of the all-new Mercedes-Benz GLE from foreign media, and the production version of the model will make its debut in the second half of this year, and will be launched before the end of this year at the earliest, and is expected to enter domestic sales in the form of imports this year or early 2025.
Judging from the renderings, the new car adopts a similar design language to the new generation of Mercedes-Benz GLC, with a starlight dot matrix grille on the front face with a huge brand logo, and an L-style LED daytime running light integrated inside the headlights, which looks relatively novel. The shape of the front bumper has become more sporty, with design elements such as body-colored decorative panels, honeycomb lower grille, and blackened front lip to bring a strong visual impact.
The side shape has not changed much, with a blacked-out window area, body-colored trim panels at the D-pillar position, and multi-spoke alloy wheels. The changes in the tail are mainly concentrated in the taillights, which adopt a parallelogram-like design, and the interior is a triangular dot matrix light source, which is well recognizable.
The interior has not been revealed for the time being, but it is expected to adopt a similar cabin style to the all-new Mercedes-Benz GLC, with a three-spoke multi-function steering wheel, full LCD instrument cluster and a large vertical central control screen, equipped with the latest MBUX infotainment system.
In terms of power, the all-new Mercedes-Benz GLE will be equipped with 2.0T, 3.0T and 4.0T V8 twin-turbo engines, the transmission system is matched with a 9-speed automatic manual transmission, and a four-wheel drive system is provided.
