Yang Huijia joined Wuxi Radio and Television in August 2022 and is currently the assistant director of the Executive Department of Broadcast Media Activities. In less than two years after joining Taiwan, she has participated in the planning and implementation of many large-scale activities such as the 2022 World Internet of Things Conference Information Consumption Festival, the 2023 Wuxi Housing Tourism Consumption Exhibition, and the 2023 Wuxi Constitution Publicity Week Kick-off Event.
Before I left Beijing, I didn't think that my next stop would be Wuxi. After leaving the Internet industry for 6 years, I never thought that the next opportunity would be in the media industry. I believe that all encounters are the best arrangement.
In August of the previous year, I joined Wuxi Radio and Television and was responsible for the planning of cooperation plans and the implementation of activities in the exhibition planning department of broadcast media. As a middle office department, the exhibition planning department has been working closely with the front-end business department, and I have also had the opportunity to participate in specific cooperation plan planning and landing activities, and I have seen how my colleagues and teachers have explored and understood and met customer needs from different angles and different ways, and I have benefited a lot from it. Working and studying here has deepened my understanding of the city of Wuxi, and also made this originally unfamiliar city come alive in my heart.
In the past two years, I have participated in the planning and implementation of many large-scale activities such as the 2022 World Internet of Things Conference Information Consumption Festival, the 2023 Wuxi Housing Tourism Consumption Exhibition, and the 2023 Wuxi Constitution Publicity Week Launching Ceremony. In spring, you can feel the bright atmosphere in the pear blossom festival of Wanshan Lake, appreciate the cultural heritage and industrial prosperity of Huishan District in "Huishan Picturesque", and witness the new vitality of this thousand-year-old town in the light and shadow show of Dangkou Ancient Town in autumn...... The experience of this event made me know many aspects of event planning and execution, and at the same time, I also really touched the pulse of the city of Wuxi, which made me love her even more.
In addition to regular MICE activities, I also seek more innovative attempts to help enhance the communication power and influence of traditional broadcast media. My friends and I took advantage of the sound advantage of radio to plan the sound product "Wandering by the Lake". In the creative process, from the perspective of a new Wuxi person, I started from the aspects of allusions, local sounds, life, government affairs construction, etc., positioning "Binhu Wandering" as a ticket to the past, connecting people with the unique memory of Binhu, and a telescope to take people to see the infinite future of Binhu from the present, and to perceive and experience the infinite charm of Binhu more comprehensively.
The content of my work in broadcast media is like a tentacle, which makes me have more perception of Wuxi and more connections with Jiangnan. Here, there are like-minded partners, kind and inclusive leaders, and senior teachers who are willing to share, who encourage me to try and ideas, and give me inexhaustible motivation to move forward when I feel lost.
Looking back on the past time, I am glad that I can become a member of Wuxi Radio and Television, be able to grow together with this beautiful city, and be able to realize my dreams here. This year, the broadcast media ushered in a new round of integration reform, and I competed for the position of assistant director of the event executive department. In the days to come, I will cherish this new opportunity and platform, forge ahead, and contribute light and heat to the integrated development of Wuxi broadcasting.
