In order to ensure the safety of the urban area during the "May Day" holiday, combined with the flood control inspection, the Xuhui District Greening and City Appearance Bureau implemented safety publicity and landscape lighting guarantee work, and carried out safety inspections on key areas such as buildings, green spaces, and corridors to ensure that responsibilities are in place and safety measures are in place.
Organize forces and strengthen inspections
A total of 402 inspections were carried out in time-sharing and sectional inspections of landscape lighting and facility safety in the whole area, mainly involving important areas such as Xujiahui business district, Caoxi North Road, Inner Ring Elevated (Xuhui Section), and Xuhui Riverside, covering 95% of the whole area.
During the day, we mainly carry out key inspections on electrical boxes, circuits and electrical components, check whether the arrangement and connection of the lines are standardized, and ensure that all facilities meet safety standards. At the same time, check the fixing of the lamp and its bracket to see if there is rust, and ask it to be cleaned and adjusted at an angle during maintenance to achieve the best lighting effect.
At night, inspect the lighting of the landscape lighting in each road section, and do a good job of inspecting the points where the lights are incomplete, colored, and strobe, and report the faults in a timely manner and rectify and repair them to ensure that the lights are in good condition during the holiday.
Focus on new construction and eliminate hidden dangers
All buildings under construction are required to implement safe and civilized construction, spot check the implementation of safety precautions, focus on the construction site of electricity safety, fire-fighting equipment and facilities, workers' personal safety, etc., in view of the above potential safety hazards, supervise on-site rectification, and strictly prevent accidents. At the same time, the duty system is strictly implemented, and it is required to do a good job in the management of the construction site during the festival and strengthen emergency response.
Push deep and do solid, publicity and inform
In order to do a good job in the deployment of safety precautions during the festival, the "Notice of Main Responsibility and Safety Management of Outdoor Landscape Lighting Setting" was issued to the self-set units of landscape lighting in the whole region, to complete the full coverage of publicity and notification, carry out hierarchical and classified investigations, and urge all units to strengthen the investigation of hidden dangers in landscape facilities and effectively implement safety precautions.
