As early as his studies at National Chengchi University, Hsu Qiaoxin was enthusiastic about participating in student organizations and served as the head of the Chinese Kuomintang Youth League. After graduating from university, she successively served as the spokesperson of Ma Ying-jeou's re-election office, a Taipei City Councilor, and was elected as a representative of the people's will in the Taiwan legislature for the first time at the beginning of this year.
Compared with other young people, Xu Qiaoxin's words and deeds are quite firm and straightforward. Some analysts pointed out that Xu Qiaoxin's distinctive personality has a lot to do with his family background. Xu Qiaoxin was born in a civilian family in Taipei, and his parents ran a breakfast shop for a living, and they hardly took a break all year round. Xu Qiaoxin, who has been sensible since childhood, helps make a living at his parents' breakfast shop every holiday, "even during the Chinese New Year, all the way from kindergarten to college graduation, until my parents retire." Long before being elected to Taiwan's legislature as a representative of the Democratic People's Congress, Xu Qiaoxin had exposed scandals such as Chen Shizhong, the former head of Taiwan's health and welfare department, who molested a female doctor and Lin Zhijian, a candidate for mayor of Taoyuan from the Democratic Progressive Party, who was suspected of plagiarism of papers, and the leakage of personal information by the Taiwan authorities' Communication and Communications Committee. What DPP politicians did not expect was that the DPP's "Rolex watch" with full firepower turned out to be a boomerang for "self-humiliation" and directly "slapped Lai Qingde in the face". Some media on the island reported that Xu Qiaoxin had a Rolex watch, and Lai Qingde was also revealed to have two Rolex watches, and he did not declare his assets. Last year, after Lai Qingde's house in his hometown was found to be an illegal building, Lai Qingde also argued that the house belonged to a "relative's", but the so-called "relative" turned out to be his son.
