Kui Zhaohui|The military flag in my heart, my regiment!

"Look to the right, look forward, stand upright, report to the regiment commander, the whole regiment is assembled, please instruct", I stood in front of the team, looked at the veterans in military uniforms, and saluted a military salute, "Take a break". This is not in the barracks, it is a combat mobilization before the show. This is the Xiangyang Military Banner Art Troupe.

First, it comes with a "sense of superiority".

I was born in the army, grew up in the barracks, and grew up listening to the sound of military bugles. Naturally, it did not suffer from 60 years of natural disasters and the various impacts brought by the Cultural Revolution. was still ignorant and knew that he entered the military camp at the age of 13 and became a literary soldier. I remember that the military uniform I was issued was too big, and I lay in bed that night, watching my mother tearfully sew a large military uniform. After less than a year as a soldier, because it was a field army (formerly the 68th Army), it was changed to Zhenbao Island. At that time, Sino-Russian relations were tense and they could enter the war at any time. Due to his young age, his father was transferred to the Wuhan Military Region, so he retired and followed his father to Hubei to continue his studies.

Second, the reverie after retirement

In 1976, he enlisted in the army for the second time. Retired from active service in 81. When I retired to the locality, I never forgot that I was once a soldier, although the uniform was dissolved, the military spirit was still there, and the position had changed its original intention. One day, the military song contest was broadcast on TV, and a choir formed by veterans, the neat pace and sonorous military songs made me wake up like a dream, isn't this what I want?!

3. Liking literature and art starts from children (three or four interesting facts)

Seriously, it's because my artistic dreams started at a young age. That is, I mentioned it to my colleagues many times later, and said that if it wasn't for my mother's many obstructions, I might have eaten art a long time ago. I remember that I went to the Bayi Kindergarten (once a week) for the army to perform in the auditorium, and there was a program called "Picking Radish", in which I played a big radish and squatted inside, and the children performed outside. During the performance, when I saw my father sitting in the first row in the two small holes in the big radish that I hadn't seen for several months, I lifted the props of the big radish and ran from the stage to the stage to find my father in tears. This also became an interesting story in the kindergarten at that time.

When I was in the third and fourth grades of primary school, there was a local cultural square (now the local gymnasium) across the road from the military compound where we lived, and there were often acrobatics, monkey players, and singing troupes (in today's terms, grass stage troupes).

Every time after school, as long as you hear the sound of gongs and tithes in the greenhouse, you can ensure that you want to go in and listen to the whole scene. Because I came home too late from school to listen to the play, I was really beaten by my mother. But that didn't stop me from listening.

When I was in high school, I was the backbone of the school's literature and art, and I especially liked to sing Peking Opera. According to the local dialect, the old lady is a corner). After the head of the county troupe found out about this, he once came to my mother's door to ask for someone. He said a lot of good things, and one of them I still remember very clearly: You see that other people's children are studying engineering and agriculture (in the later stage of the Cultural Revolution, the school has not yet entered a good state), and your children have begun to earn money for you. The head of the regiment in the back, whether you were blown away by my mother or scolded by my mother, my mother will never let me go anyway.

There are two reasons: one is that my mother's careful thinking I already knew, and sooner or later let me go to the army. After I joined the army, I had a very good relationship with Gao Xia, who came from the propaganda team of the provincial military district of the company (I still have contacts with them), and she saw that my Peking Opera Lao Dan sang very tastefully, and several times she said that she would introduce me to the Wuhan Military Region's Shengli Peking Opera Troupe, but I politely declined. I know my mom would never agree.

I love Peking Opera because of my old father, who likes to sing Lao Sheng (that is, to play the old man), and the Peking Opera "Fishing and Killing Home" sung by my sister is talked about at our family gatherings. In order to pursue my artistic dream, after I arrived in the army and went to the locality, I used my spare time to study correspondence on my own and obtained a diploma in film and television dubbing from Beijing Film Academy (which also laid a solid foundation for me).

Fourth, dreams

Photo with my father

I served in the Hubei Provincial Military Region Communication Station, the address is in Xiaohongshan, Wuchang, there was a week outside Wuchang to buy things, while wandering, a few words flew into my eyes: Hubei Provincial Opera School. These seven words made me stop for a long, long time... Looking at the students coming in and out, it made me envious and jealous! One of the students who should have come out of there was me... Since then, whenever I go out on the street, I have to take a detour, intentionally or unintentionally, and I have to walk here to stop, and I don't want to leave for a long time.

Once, when I felt that I should have been looking at the school for a long time, a teacher-like person (male and female) asked me, Comrade of the People's Liberation Army, what is the matter with you? This question woke me up from my dream, and I hurriedly stumbled incoherently... Oh... Not... Not... No. Whenever I turn on the TV and tune in to my favorite channel 11, there is a column called "Liyuan Break Through the Fence and I Command" is a child participation, I always think of the scene when I was a child and was beaten by my mother to listen to the play. If I had such good learning conditions and such a good role in learning dramas, would I have been able to learn a famous pear garden master?!

Fifth, the early days of the establishment of the group

Nowadays, it is not easy to build an art troupe that plays and sings and is also a special art troupe...!What should I do?

First of all, there must be professional teachers who understand art, where do they look for them? At this time, I thought of a person I once met because of work, Li Dawei from the Xiangyang Qunyi Museum. When I heard that this person was still transferred from the former 38th Army Art Troupe, I was like a treasure. When I communicated my ideas with him, I got his approval and support, and he said, you can do the preliminary work, the framework is built, and I will introduce it to the art teacher.

It's really hard to find a place to break through the iron shoes, and it takes no effort to get it. This anti-Buddha gave me a shot in the arm, which is called a joy, and that is an excitement. The basic team members first started from our retirement center, except for those who came back from demobilization, they also came back from reemployment.

When I spread the news, the whole family signed up for the event. There are only three of them in my family. The male voice of our regiment is Fan Youlai (transferred from the Xiangyang Military Division) has three (younger sisters, brothers-in-law are former soldiers), and two brothers of Cheng Xinning (former Beijing Military Region). At the same time, those who signed up first were introduced to other demobilized and discharged back to their localities, and many former soldiers took the initiative to come to the door and ask to join.

One day I received a special phone call, when I took the initiative to report my name, a serious and excited soprano on the other side said: My name is Wang Ling, I heard that you have formed the Xiangyang Military Banner Art Troupe? The tone is loud, the voice is high, what is the origin. I didn't show weakness in asking, have you ever been a soldier? This question was not serious, and the other party said in high spirits: Our family is all soldiers, my old father is the deputy political commissar of the Hubei Provincial Military Region (ah! My direct leader, alas), I have been transferred to the 161 Unit Hospital, and my younger brothers and sisters are still serving in the army. God, I really don't know how to see gold and jade, and I said three in a row! Collect! Collect! There are countless such scenes.

Sixth, the framework is erected and recruited

As the team continues to expand, some teachers with professional standards also come to the door automatically.

One day on the day of the reunion activity, there was a gay man who was not amazing and had no body, who looked like he was about 45 years old, but this person gave people a kind of spirituality that emanated from the heart. When I asked, did you sign up for my group? What do I know about my specialty? The other person replied: singing.

At this time, you look at me, I look at you, it's all that... But when the music sounded, and a crisp and melodious military song floated over the training ground, everyone was stunned! When the song was sung, so that no one felt it, and the feeling of unfinished meaning made everyone present open their mouths and stunned for a minute, and when everyone reflected it, the deafening applause did not stop for a long time. It is true that those who come are not good, and those who are good do not come. It turned out that he was from the propaganda team of the Second Henan Artillery Division, and after changing jobs, he joined the Xiangyang City Song and Dance Troupe. No wonder... Professional military singer.

When I opened the door, a slightly shy girl stood at the door obediently with her head slightly looking at the ground, and I asked: Is there something wrong? Answer: I apply for your regiment (one of the rules and regulations in the regiment, anyone who wants to join the regiment must take the exam every time they enter). I asked again: Specialty? Answer: Singing. The voice of the reply was so small that it was inaudible.

When she let go of her singing voice, she shocked everyone present with a Hubei folk song "Fourth Sister Huang". Looking at such a weak woman, it is really unimaginable that she has such a penetrating singing voice. It turned out that this person was a police officer of the Propaganda Department of Xiangbei Prison, and he had studied with many professional teachers. Basically a professional singer (36 years old when I applied for the exam).

At the beginning of the group, there were many people who came to apply for the examination one after another, and according to our usual standard, there were too many people who came to apply for the examination, sometimes five or six at a time. But very few can really stay. This is done to ensure the artistic content of the team, and to rejuvenate it. The rules and regulations for the establishment of the regiment clearly stipulate: militarization of management, specialization of art, and rejuvenation of the ranks.

On another occasion, I went to the Cultural Affairs Bureau with the political commissar at the time (previously registered with the Civil Affairs Bureau and filed with the Municipal Bureau of Culture (then called)). When asked about the office on the fourth floor, the two of us went straight without stopping. When a large stack of materials was handed over to this clerk, when he learned that we were the leaders of the Military Banner Art Troupe with a serious face, he immediately had a spring breeze on his face, asking this and that, so that we were at a loss to follow, and I didn't know what medicine he was selling in his gourd. In order to be able to get things done smoothly with him, we really don't dare to slack off, and ask what to say (very humble).

When he changed the conversation, it turned out that he wanted to introduce his niece to our group, in order not to trouble us and get things done smoothly, I had to agree first, thinking that this dare to offend, what regulations, what to apply for the exam all put in the back of my mind. But afterwards, it turned out that his niece was a very, very good dancer, looking like a delicate dancer. We joked with her niece afterwards, saying that she was traded with the group...

Seventh, team formation, team key

The construction of the leadership team is the key to the construction of the entire artistic team, including political construction, ideological construction, organizational construction, style construction, discipline construction, system construction and capacity building, etc., and the core content is to improve the leadership level and governing ability.

I am a veteran party member with 45 years of party experience, and as the head of a regiment, I will strictly demand myself in accordance with the party constitution. However, I have also put a lot of thought and effort into the allocation of the leadership group! It is absolutely impossible for a regiment to rely on its commander alone. Because our regiment is organized and managed according to the nature of the troops, the establishment is called the same.

First of all, it is necessary to have an assistant, that is, the political commissar of the regiment. It is necessary not only to understand art, but also to have political and ideological awareness, first of all, as a party member. Through the investigation, Guan Xuejun, a Communist Party member who was transferred back to the local area from the army's art troupe, entered the candidate list. Through conversations, ordinary observations, and listening to the opinions of the league members, it was unanimously agreed that Comrade Guan Xuejun was the political commissar of the Military Banner Art Troupe.

In this way, as soon as the head and political commissar of the regiment were confirmed, the other deputy regiment commanders and deputy political commissars were determined one by one according to the requirements: Ge Gang (deputy head of the Military Banner Art Troupe, member of the Communist Party of China) was transferred to the Xiangyang City Art Troupe. Tang Guangqing (deputy political commissar of the Military Banner Art Troupe, member of the Communist Party of China) was originally known as the 43rd Army of the Iron Army (participated in the self-defense counterattack against Vietnam) and transferred to the main regiment. Gao Qige (military instructor of the Military Flag Art Troupe, member of the Communist Party of China) was transferred from the former Commission of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense. With a strong leadership team, my work is like a fish in water, and my comrades-in-arms work together. With the joint efforts of everyone, the Xiangyang Military Banner Art Troupe officially began to be formed.

Eighth, the dream comes true

Kui Zhaohui|The military flag in my heart, my regiment!

On July 16, 2013, after seven years of preparation, careful organization and selection, a comprehensive art troupe was established focusing on retired soldiers, military children and military families. Finally fulfilled a dream that had been held for many years. Subsequently, a Xiangyang Military Flag Art Troupe dressed in the army's 07 standard formal uniform, well-trained, loud military songs, and fluttering military flags appeared in the public eye of Xiangyang. The name of the Xiangyang Military Banner Art Troupe resounded on both sides of the Xiangjiang River! In the words of an old artist in the industry: The Xiangyang Military Banner Art Troupe is a dark horse in our Xiangyang amateur art team!

9. Interesting facts in the art troupe

Due to the high starting point and high artistic content, our troupe is loved and welcomed by the citizens! After many performances, they either asked to take a photo with us, or took the initiative to ask to join the team. What's more, he took us by the hand and said that we hadn't seen this form of performance for many years. At the beginning of 2018, our troupe performed in the Tangcheng Special Channeling Festival, which coincided with Women's Day on March 8th, and there were as many as 100,000 people on that day (there was a TV report on the same day), after the performance, a female comrade came with a hundred yuan (there was a video, what was being filmed, I happened to meet) and ran to find the head of the troupe, and when I saw her, I said excitedly: Your performance today made me have a very meaningful Women's Day! I can't express my feelings in more words, only donate the only 100 yuan I have on my body to you. Pushing back and forth like this for a long time. We can only accept it as a token of gratitude.

Ten, after ten years, the more you walk, the wider it becomes

Kui Zhaohui|The military flag in my heart, my regiment!

In 2022, our regiment was recommended by the Xiangyang Culture and Tourism Bureau to participate in the "Sing a Mountain Song to the Party" boutique program exhibition for the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Hubei Province. This year, it was incorporated into the direct team of the Hubei Provincial Association for Caring for Veterans.
