On the phone, the masses reported in a hurried voice: "There is suspected of someone illegally producing fireworks and firecrackers in an idle and vacant house in Tieshan Village, Ma'an Town!" This news immediately attracted the attention of the Emergency Management Bureau.
After receiving the report, the Yilong County Emergency Management Bureau responded quickly and immediately contacted the County Public Security Bureau and the People's Government of Ma'an Town, and launched a joint law enforcement mechanism. A multi-agency law enforcement team quickly assembled and rushed to the scene to investigate.
When law enforcement officers arrived at the scene, they found that there were indeed a large number of finished and semi-finished fireworks and production tools in the idle houses referred to in the report. Two workers are stacking these finished and semi-finished products haphazardly in the house, without any safety precautions. In addition, law enforcement officers also found chemical drugs used in the production of fireworks, internal and external packaging boxes and other items, as well as obvious traces of production.
In order to further clarify the situation, law enforcement officers expanded the scope of the search. After careful investigation, they found a large number of chemical drugs, empty cylinders and finished products used in the production of fireworks and firecrackers in another idle house more than 300 meters away and in an idle house in Qianya Village, Ma'an Town.
After a preliminary investigation, it was found that none of the three houses in the illegal production den were equipped with corresponding safety equipment and facilities such as detection, ventilation, sun protection, temperature protection, fire prevention, explosion protection, and lightning protection. The production process is all manual work, and the workers eat and live in the self-built house and cook with an open fire, which is undoubtedly a huge safety hazard. According to statistics, law enforcement officers seized a total of 312 pieces of finished products, 757 pieces of semi-finished products, 7,861 plates of empty cylinder cakes, as well as 561 bags of raw materials such as potassium perchlorate, sulfur, aluminum-magnesium alloy powder, perlite powder, sealing agent, etc., the number is huge, and the houses with explosive danger drugs are adjacent to the newly built Ma'an Town Railway Station, located in the traffic artery, once an accident occurs, the consequences will be unimaginable.
Under the guidance of experts, law enforcement officers seized the items involved in the case on the spot, and organized special vehicles to transfer raw materials, finished products, and semi-finished products to standardized warehouses for storage. At the same time, the Yilong County Public Security Bureau and the Emergency Management Bureau have set up a joint case-handling team to further investigate and handle the case.
This case is the first case of illegal production of fireworks and firecrackers discovered in our county. Gao Luming, head of the hazardous chemical unit of the Yilong County Emergency Management Bureau, said after investigating and handling the case, "In the later stage, while promoting the depth of law enforcement, we will increase publicity efforts to encourage the masses to actively report and prevent similar incidents from happening again." ”
