On the occasion of the "May Day" Labor Day, on the morning of April 28, 2024, in order to welcome the arrival of the "May Day" and create a warm, festive, civilized and harmonious festival atmosphere, the community in Lishi District, Lvliang City held a literary and artistic performance of "Labor Creates Happiness and Hard Work Achieves Great Causes" in Century Square, Lvliang City. The event was hosted by the community in the city and co-organized and planned by Dongwang volunteers. The participants in this activity include 16 Dongwang volunteers, Teacher Gao's team, Dongchuan Variety Team, Happy Time Variety Team, Gymnasium Sisters Waist Drum Team, Century Square Dance Team, Changmao Literature and Art Team, etc.
At 8 o'clock in the morning, accompanied by the beautiful voice of the community host, after the speech of Feng Liqin, the secretary of the community in the city, the cultural and artistic programs that the audience was looking forward to began to be staged in turn, such as the fan dance "Good Day", the music allegro "Civil Code", the song and dance "Visiting the New Town", the performance and singing "Peasant Propaganda Group", "The White-Haired Girl", the dance "Ten to the Red Army", "China Cow Up" and other more than 20 wonderful programs were staged one by one. The progress of social civilization is inseparable from the selfless dedication of workers. During the performance, Secretary Feng of the community personally distributed welfare goods to the sanitation workers and extended cordial greetings, thanking every sanitation worker for their selfless dedication to the community environment! The performance ended with the chorus of all the actors and the audience singing "Without the Communist Party, there would be no New China", expressing people's love for the party and their expectations for a better life in the future.
After the show, some of the volunteers went to the Chengdong community to participate in another event. Through this popular community literary and artistic activity, the literary and artistic cultural exchanges between the community and the masses have been promoted, the spiritual and cultural life of the masses has been enriched, and it has played a good role in social propaganda and in rallying and uniting the masses.
