The 27th meeting of the Standing Committee of the Eighth Municipal People's Congress was held at the Party School of the Municipal Party Committee on April 29. The meeting first conducted a concentrated study, and then deliberated on the decision of the Standing Committee of the Jinzhou Municipal People's Congress on changing the names of some working bodies of the Standing Committee of the Jinzhou City People's Congress (draft); the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress on the implementation measures for the supervision of the "three accounts" (draft); the decision of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress on strengthening the protection and utilization of potholes (draft); the decision (draft) on permitting the adoption of compulsory measures against a deputy to the Jinzhou City People's Congress; listened to and deliberated on the special report of the municipal government on optimizing the business environment. A comprehensive report on the management of state-owned assets in 2023, and a report on the implementation of the opinions and recommendations put forward by the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress on the inspection of the city's courts' litigation source management. Feng Cungai, vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress, gave an explanation of the decision (draft) on changing the names of some of the working organs of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress, and the responsible comrades of the organs and committees of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress respectively gave explanations on the measures for the implementation of the "three accounts" supervision work (for trial implementation), the decision (draft) on strengthening the protection and utilization of pits and ponds in rural areas, and the decision (draft) on permitting the adoption of compulsory measures against a deputy to the Jinzhou City People's Congress. The meeting voted and adopted the decision on changing the name of some working organs of the Jinju City People's Congress Standing Committee, the decision on strengthening the protection and utilization of pits and ponds, and the implementation measures for the supervision of the "three accounts" of the Jinju City People's Congress Standing Committee, and made a decision to approve the adoption of compulsory measures against a Jinzhou City People's Congress deputy. After group deliberation, the members of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress put forward opinions and suggestions on the relevant reports, and the meeting voted to approve the above reports. The meeting studied personnel appointments and dismissals. Chen Guoxing, vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress, Ji Tao, vice mayor, and Nie Yufeng, president of the Municipal People's Court, respectively gave explanations on personnel appointments and dismissals. The initial candidates for the main posts made service reports. The meeting voted and approved the appointment and dismissal of personnel, issued a letter of appointment on the spot, and held a constitutional oath-taking ceremony.
