In fact, since the launch of the original AION V in 2020, this car has received good market feedback with its unique design and definition of great cost performance. In just four years, it has exceeded 480,000 units.
This is not only due to the product strength, but also the importance attached to the Aion brand within the GAC Group. There are two brands under Aion, one is Haobo, which is mainly aimed at the high-end luxury market, and the other is Aion, which is more focused on the mainstream market.
At the 2024 Beijing Auto Show, Aion officially released its first global strategic model, the second-generation AION V, with the intention of building it into a global car and showing GAC's strength in a broader international competition.
In order to highlight the independence and personality of the Aion brand, the second-generation AION V will also use a new logo, starting with this car, and the entire series will be updated and rebranded one after another.
New looks: Let the original go global
The previous generation of AION V was mecha-style, mainly with a boxy shape to get more interior space. The second-generation AION V was originally created by global design teams in Los Angeles, Milan, Shanghai, and Guangzhou.
By absorbing the elements of the Tyrannosaurus rex, the overall shape is very tough, and the official name "ecological function" design language can integrate strength, technology and emotion, whether it is the keel waistline or the dragon claw headlights, it is refreshing.
At the same time, thanks to the new generation of AEP pure electric digital platform, due to the advantages of modular layout, the utilization rate of interior space in the car is increased by 20% within the limited body size. With a length of 4605mm and a wheelbase of 2775mm, the rear space is still very spacious.
In addition, the front seats of the second-generation AION V can also be automatically flattened at the touch of a button, resulting in a large flat floor space of 6 square meters. The rear seats can also be reclined to 137°, plus a smart refrigerator with a temperature range of -15°C to 50°C, Belgian Primium9 speakers, four-tone voice interaction, and a large-size central control screen.

Endurance performance, with unique technology
The second-generation AION V has a drag coefficient of 0.27cd, an electric drive efficiency of 90.5%, and the highest electric drive speed of 20,000 rpm, achieving a range of 750 km.
At the same time, this car also applies silicon carbide to the mainstream 400V vehicle platform for the first time, which is not only efficient, but also adaptable to global charging piles. The all-tab lamination technology and the original graphene fast charging technology shorten the charging time by 60%, and the energy supply is 370km in 15 minutes, which is as fast as refueling.
Aion has built an energy supply circle of "5 kilometers in the urban area and 10 kilometers in the main road" in China, and Aion's charging pile can be found within 10 minutes. At the same time, Aion has also established an extensive charging network overseas, so that the second-generation AION V can be driven from China to Southeast Asia, becoming a truly global model.

The second-generation AION V is equipped with the ADiGO PILOT intelligent driving system, equipped with Orin X chip, high-threaded lidar + 5 millimeter-wave radars + 11 vision cameras and other hardware, and has the industry's self-learning pilot technology, which can realize high-end intelligent driving such as urban NDA, high-speed NDA, and one-key remote control parking without relying on high-precision maps.

Aion won the championship of the new energy quality list for a second time, won the double championship of J.D.
