According to CNMO, the reference think tank and the World Research Index recently jointly released the "Overseas Social Media Communication Index of Chinese Enterprises (March 2024)". The index includes about 280 companies in China in various sectors, and the data covers four overseas social media platforms: Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), Instagram and LinkedIn. From the perspective of comprehensive communication, Huawei and Xiaomi rank in the top two, which is not much different from the perception of netizens.

Top 10 of Chinese enterprises' overseas social media communication power index

From the perspective of comprehensive communication power, Huawei, Xiaomi, DJI, POP MART, Moutai, OPPO, BYD, MG Automobile, Lenovo, and Insta360 rank in the top 10, reflecting strong overseas social media communication strength. Among them, Huawei's performance is very eye-catching. Huawei has a high level of fan engagement on all platforms, and the increase in the number of interactions on X and Instagram is relatively obvious.
