April 16, 2024 is the day when we visit the Laojun Mountain Scenic Area, cloudy weather, moderate temperature, although the body of the multi-day tour is inevitably a little tired, but the mood is cheerful and joyful, the old and frail are also inevitably afraid of difficulties, I don't know how many steps are waiting for us in Laojun Mountain, the leading idea of my mother and I is what to see after taking the car, not to challenge ourselves. When we arrived halfway up the mountain after taking the first car, a girl at the kiosk heard that we were going to stay and took the initiative to tell us that there was no turning back from this mountain, and there were often old people who couldn't get down the mountain for hours, and they couldn't see anything when they stayed in the middle of the mountain.
In order to take care of our in-laws and son, we gave up hiking up the mountain and took the second cable car up the mountain with us to reach the top of the mountain. Very cozy, there are also multiple escalators high up in the mountain, which reduces the confusion of the elderly. Because the location of the car is on a very high mountain, the road to view the scenery is mainly based on the lower mountain and the flat road, and if you climb the main peak of Laojun Mountain, there are still 100 steps. In this way, it is not very difficult for us to reach the golden summit of Laojun Mountain. Of course, there are relatively many steps up and down, especially the connection between going down the mountain and picking up the car, which is a journey of more than 10,000 steps.
Located in Luanchuan County, Luoyang City, Henan Province, the ancient capital of the Thirteen Dynasties, Laojun Mountain is the only place in China that is not open to foreigners and is unique to Chinese. To the golden top of Laojun Mountain, there are two sections of cableway in the scenic area. The first section of the ropeway, divided into Zhongling Cableway and Yunjing Cableway, is parallel, and you can do either one. 70 yuan, 65 yuan, 130 yuan round trip, it is recommended to sit, if it takes 5 hours to climb the mountain, and the scenery is average. The second section of the ropeway is the Fenglin Ropeway, which can be taken on any ropeway. Although you can take any ropeway, it is a different parking space, and the distance is far away, so you need to find a parking lot to drive first.
Enjoying the Laojun Mountain Scenic Area is an unexpected harvest of Luoyang's trip, and it is also a major gain. Zhai Jie, a friend who determined the trip to Luoyang, suggested that we go to Laojun Mountain to have a look, and got the approval of his son and in-laws to arrange to enter our itinerary. Along the way, my son arranged for us to eat, live and play, and Laojun Mountain Scenic Area was our last tourist attraction and the most difficult scenic spot.

At more than three o'clock in the afternoon, when we were in high spirits to take pictures at the Golden Peak, we suddenly found a wisp of white smoke like a thick fog suddenly floating up from the lower left mountain, and the light clouds went straight up to a golden top on the opposite side, and soon the mountain range on the left was full of smoke, which really made people feel like entering a fairyland, and when we took the car to return home, the whole mountain range was immersed in thick fog. I am very glad that Laojun Mountain and Jinding have taken all the sights and embarked on the return journey. The weather in the mountains is constantly changing. Laojun Mountain, we are here, thanks to the ancestors for their miraculous skills, and grateful for the endless famous mountains and rivers of the motherland. It's worth the trip.
