Blackmon, 6-3 (1.91m) tall, from Indiana, averaged 21.3 points per game in his junior season to rank in the top 10 in the United States, shooting 38.1% from three-point range, played at Grand Canyon University in his freshman year, scored 43 points in a single game in the ASUN Championship championship, led Stetson University to win the regional championship for the first time, and advanced to the NCAA Championship for the first time.
