Bayana, Italian actor Pierresco Favino, Japanese director Hirokazu Kore-eda, French actor/producer Omar Hi.

This year's Cannes Film Festival will feature 19 films competing for the Palme d'Or for Best Picture, including Jia Zhangke's The Merry Generation. In addition, three Chinese films were shortlisted or screened: "Sauce Garden Lane" directed by Chen Kexin was shortlisted for the "Non-Competition Unit", "Dog Formation" directed by Guan Hu was shortlisted for the "Un Certain Regard Unit", and Zheng Baorui's new work "The Siege of the Kowloon Walled City", which will be released in China on May 1st, was shortlisted for the "Midnight Screening" unit.
