In 1999, he graduated from Shanxi University of Finance and Economics with a major in information management, and was unemployed after graduation, and then went to Beijing to become a North Drifter. Because of a little bit of programming, he became a code farmer. In 2002, he founded Confucius Used Books Network, which has 20 million registered users so far, and is a well-known used book trading website in China. At the end of 2015, he participated in the establishment of a large-scale private public library (miscellaneous library) in China, with a collection of 1 million books, of which 800,000 are ancient books before 1949. At present, the "Kongwang Folk Ancient Books Museum" and the "Kongwang Red Literature Museum" and other classified libraries are being prepared.
