On Saturday, April 13, the young people had a double holiday, and the son and daughter-in-law agreed to drive the children and our old couple to Jinan to play.
I think it is a blessing in my life to be able to stay in Jinan for two days, visit Daming Lake and many other places of interest, and appreciate and explore Jinan, a city with a long history, beautiful scenery and full of vitality. Before I retired, a few good friends told me: "After retirement, you must go to Jinan to play, the summer in Jinan is still relatively hot, it is more suitable to go to spring in March and April, the climate is pleasant, the days are longer, and you can see more attractions during the day." In addition, there is Thousand Buddha Mountain, Baotu Spring, Daming Lake do not miss, these three are the main three places of interest in Jinan City. Such a good city, such a good place, such a good season, it is really worth a trip to enjoy the infinite scenery of the beautiful spring city.
We set off from home at nine o'clock in the morning, and before leaving, I had a phone call with my old comrade-in-arms Daofu, who was a comrade-in-arms of Laixi of the 5th Division of the Railway Corps who enlisted in the same year as me, and his hometown was not far away, more than ten miles apart, and he was later transferred to the 4th Division of the Railway Corps, and has now retired and settled in Jinan. I told him that he was going to Jinan today: "First, to visit the scenic spots in Jinan, and second, we haven't seen each other for many years, so we will take advantage of this trip to visit him." I heard that my old comrade-in-arms was also quite happy to go to him, and told me on the phone that I don't care about anything, just come to Jinan and have a good time with your family, and he will arrange all the food and accommodation.
After more than four hours of driving, we got off the highway, entered the Longding Avenue on the periphery of Jinan City, traveled for a while, then saw the Jinan Municipal Government Office Building, and after about 3 kilometers of the Longao Building, we arrived at the Shandong Museum, which is the first scenic spot we visited after arriving in Jinan.
Shandong Museum is located in Jinan City, Lixia District, Jingshi Road No. 11899, we are not far from the museum to watch, the museum is about 60 meters high, the upper part is a silver-white semicircular dome, careful observation can see the shape of the spring, ask the management personnel to know the shape of the dome spring, is the spring culture represented by Baotu Spring, is the symbol of the provincial capital Jinan. The lower part of the museum is a blue-gray cube structure, simple and grand, vigorous and steady, reflecting the traditional culture of the Chinese nation, the idea of the heaven and the earth are round, and the unity of heaven and man.
Entering the museum, you can see that the main building of the museum has five floors and 15 exhibition halls, which can meet the needs of permanent and temporary exhibitions. In the hall on the first floor, there is a Buddhist statue art exhibition, a Han Dynasty portrait art exhibition, and three special exhibition halls. On the second floor is the Shandong History and Culture Exhibition and the Ming Dynasty King Lu Exhibition. The third floor is the exhibition of the great migration of African wild animals, the exhibition of archaeological achievements, etc. The more than two-hour visit in the museum made me deeply feel the creative spirit, creative wisdom, and creative exploration of the Chinese nation under such difficult and difficult conditions, and at the same time, I also deeply realized the simplicity and depth of the traditional culture of the Chinese nation.

My comrade-in-arms told me that the hotel he arranged for us was not far from the Shandong Museum, which was only a 10-minute drive away, and the location was the Jinan Ginza Pavilion Hotel on the north side of Jingshi Road in Lixia District. After arriving at the hotel, I learned that the old comrades-in-arms had booked two rooms for us, on the 11th floor, the comprehensive conditions of the hotel were still good, and the breakfast was relatively rich.
Put down the bag, wash the face, we immediately rearranged the tour itinerary after four o'clock, originally Daofu comrades-in-arms have booked dinner for our family in the hotel, but the son and daughter-in-law want to take the child to play in Quancheng Square first, and then go to Daming Lake, dinner will not be eaten with us, I think, young people have their own rules of life, the amount of activity is also large, then go with him.
After the children left, the old comrades-in-arms suggested: He first drove me and my wife in the new area in the southern suburbs, and walked around both sides of Jingshi Road to watch and appreciate the Longao Building, Donghexi Liu's Olympic Sports Center, the new office building of the 14th Bureau, the new residential community, Through the new landscape such as the tenth road, in the tour to appreciate and experience the new look of Jinan, a dynamic city, the combination of traditional culture and the development of the times, and then go to his house to settle down, take a look at the old comrade-in-arms' new home, his wife and the old comrade-in-arms of the lover Li Hua has not seen for many years, is trying to see her, not much to say, we immediately leave the hotel.
