On April 25, the Baofeng Sub-district Office and the District Library held a reading contest of "Flowers Bloom in Four Seasons and Bathe in the Fragrance of Books".
More than 160 contestants from the Baofeng School (Park), the staff and students of the village committees, the employees of various agencies, enterprises and institutions, and the Baofeng Street Youth Pioneer Team participated in the competition.
At the event site, the well-prepared contestants took the stage with full enthusiasm and confidence. The students chose works such as "Juvenile Chinese Sayings", "Analects", and "Di Zi Gui: Twenty-four Solar Terms" for recitation, demonstrating their deep understanding of literary works and their proficiency in the use of language. Teachers also actively participated, some chose classic poems, some chose modern prose, showing different literary charms. The atmosphere of the competition was warm, and the audience applauded continuously.
The judges scored the contestants according to their performance, language skills, emotional expression, demeanor and appearance, and finally selected the winning groups and individuals, and awarded prizes and certificates.
