On April 28th, the second artichoke festival of Qinglong Yi Ancient Village in Baofeng Street opened, and nearly 100 art and photography enthusiasts and more than 1,000 tourists went to the ancient village to check in and experience the beautiful scenery of the ancient village of Yi and feel the joy of harvest.
On the day of the event, theatrical performances, artichoke competitions, digging artichoke, eating artichoke...... Rich and interesting projects are emerging one after another. Villagers celebrate the harvest with songs and dances, dressed in festive costumes and dancing to share the joy and celebrate the harvest with tourists.
In the afternoon, more than 100 tourists gathered in the artichoke field to prepare to start digging artichokes. After the lottery determines the area, the tourists are ready to try. With the issuance of the staff's instructions, the contestants rushed to the ground, or squatting, sitting, or bending over, uprooting the artichoke, bringing up a string of artichoke, digging and picking up, digging upside down, digging along the way, digging sideways, people are busy, and the field is full of laughter!
"Today, adults and children are having a lot of fun, and I also take this opportunity to take the children to experience the pastoral life, hands-on, and experience the process of digging artichokes, so that they can feel the difficulty of life. Said the tourist.
In the evening, at the potato special farmhouse banquet in Qinglong Village, the sumptuous dishes made people overwhelmed. Skilled chefs use artichoke as the main ingredient to cook, fry, fry, boil, and mix cold, so that ordinary artichoke can be transformed into a delicious dish suitable for all ages, which makes diners shout and enjoy. During the meal, there were also hospitable Yi family girls to sing the Yi family toast song, and the guests were happy with the wine.
The artichoke festival in Qinglong Yi Ancient Village not only has traditional cultural performances and digging artichokes, but also specially set up a provincial intangible cultural heritage Baofeng decal booth, so that the masses can feel the charm of intangible cultural heritage at zero distance. In addition, the Qinglong Yi Ancient Village Art and Photography Exhibition was also added to the event, and a number of works reflecting the local rural construction process and showing the new achievements of beautiful rural construction were exhibited.
It is understood that the Qinglong Artichoke Harvest Festival will continue until May 3, and tourists can also come to Baofeng Qinglong during the May Day holiday to enjoy the Yi villages and pastoral scenery, and taste the Yi family's characteristic farm banquet.
