Tanggangzi Hot Spring Sanatorium is one of the four major rehabilitation centers in China, and the hot mineral mud in the hospital is known as "the first mud in Asia". According to the assay. Tanggangzi geothermal field is located in Tanggangzi Town, Qianshan District, Anshan City, 15km away from Anshan City. The medium and shallow geothermal field currently being developed in Tanggangzi is 1400m long, 220~230m wide, and covers an area of about 0.38km². The geothermal reserves are 4.172 billion tons of standard coal, the recoverable reserves of standard coal are 83.78 million tons, and the energy station has been established, with a heating area of 10.18 million m². Tanggangzi hot mineral mud is 5~10m thick, and the hot mineral mud is sub-clay and silt, rich in minerals, which fully meets the standard of treatment mud therapy. The thermal mineral water of Tanggangzi geothermal field is fluoride water and silica water, which has good recuperation and health care value.
