1. At the scene, the world's first hydrogen-fueled range-extender vehicle, the Roewe iMAX8 hydrogen-fueled range-extender hybrid MPV, was unveiled. The Roewe iMAX8 is jointly built by an "innovation consortium" composed of SAIC, Hydrogen Jet Technology and Tongji University, and is equipped with the latest fuel cell system PROME P4M of Hydrogen Jet Technology.

Recently, Geely's long-range new energy commercial vehicle Shanghai project landed in Jiading Industrial Zone, which will carry out the production, sales and operation of electric buses, municipal sanitation vehicles, urban distribution vehicles, and trunk logistics heavy trucks, providing strong support for the construction of the city's green and intelligent transportation system and creating a new growth pole for Shanghai's high-quality development.

Recently, the Information and Quantum Laboratory of the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Tsinghua University, and the Shanghai Institute of Microsystem and Information Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, a scientific research institute in Jiading, have successfully developed the world's first gallium nitride quantum light source chip, laying a solid foundation for the mainland's research in the field of quantum communication.

On April 22, the "Automotive Data Workshop" jointly created by Shanghai New Energy Vehicle Public Data Collection and Monitoring Research Center and Shanghai Boqi Automotive Technology Co., Ltd. was unveiled, which also marked a new step in Jiading's government-enterprise cooperation in the field of new energy vehicle data services.
14. On April 22, as one of the activities of the Shanghai Automobile Culture Festival, the Unreal Engine Innovation Center and UE Virtual Production Studio of PMQ Bay were opened, and 18 companies signed contracts to settle in PMQ Bay.
15. On April 22, the 2nd National Reading Conference of Jiading District and the 2024 Jiading Reading Month of "Walking Jiangnan Reading Jiading" opened.
