On April 27, Wuyuan held a rehearsal of the "Intangible Cultural Heritage Season" in Jiangwan Scenic Area. From May 1st to June 30th, the "2024 Wuyuan County Jiangwan Scenic Area Intangible Cultural Heritage Tour Season", which lasts for two months and is performed around the clock every Saturday, Sunday and statutory holidays, is about to start!
Wuyuan, the most beautiful village in China, not only has the ecological beauty of green mountains and clear waters, but also the cultural beauty accumulated for thousands of years. The profound cultural heritage has given birth to colorful intangible cultural heritage such as Hui opera, Wu dance, tea ceremony, banlong lantern, tofu rack, etc. Up to now, Wuyuan has 6 national intangible cultural heritages, 512 representative inheritors of intangible cultural heritage at all levels, and 53 intangible cultural heritage inheritance bases at or above the county level, including 1 at the national level and 7 at the provincial level.
In order to promote the in-depth integration of intangible cultural heritage and tourism, Wuyuan continues to make efforts to stage the normalization of the "intangible cultural heritage season", and to carry on the intangible cultural heritage in the form of "intangible cultural heritage into the scenic spot", and organically integrate the folk customs in the intangible cultural heritage - tofu rack, dance - Wu dance, drama - Hui opera, skills - tea art and other characteristic intangible cultural heritage items into the scenic spot. Present the intangible cultural heritage charm and cultural connotation of the beautiful Shangrao to the on-site tourists, create a new hot spot in the Shangrao cultural tourism market, and stimulate the new vitality of May Day tourism!
