The Huawei Pura 70 Ultra's one-inch main camera is the 2x zoom quality that is most noticeable in daytime scenes. Judging from our samples, the improvement in image quality in this scene is indeed significant, and the image is still sharp and sharp after zooming, which may surprise those who prefer the 50mm focal length.
In the night scene, Huawei Pura 70 Ultra's one-inch does have a "large bottom" to spare, even if the environment of the night scene is more complex, it can also restore most of the details in the framing range more perfectly;
I believe that there are still some friends who are worried about the stability and reliability of this telescopic lens, but in fact, the in-depth optimization of the Huawei Pura 70 Ultra can really dispel this part of the worries. In terms of image quality, the telephoto performance is also very good, whether it is a close-up of a corner of the scene, or a portrait photo, it is very easy to use.
In night environments, the telephoto still performs well, especially in the face of glare control in the highlights, which goes a step further than the previous Huawei telephoto, and finally presents a relatively clear night scene effect, and at the same time, even with further digital zoom, up to a focal length equivalent of 270mm (10x), it can still present relatively good image quality, and the usability is quite high.
Pro-level images are also very good
Of course, I believe that more friends will also be more curious about the image performance of the other three models. Interestingly, in terms of the main camera configuration, the parameters of the standard version, Pro version and Pro+ of the Huawei Pura 70 are very consistent, all of them are 1/1.3 type sensors, and they are all equipped with variable aperture that supports F1.4~F4.0, so we also brought the Huawei Pura 70 Pro+ as a representative to show their image strength.
In terms of the imaging effect of the main camera, what is more surprising is that the image quality performance of the Huawei Pura 70 Pro+ is actually very close to the Ultra's one-inch sensor, and if you don't zoom in on the contrast details, the difference in the mobile phone is actually not big, which is undoubtedly surprising, and at the same time, in night shots, it also records the due picture details well, and the anti-glare performance is still very good.
The Huawei Pura 70 Pro+'s two secondary cameras also perform very well. In daytime scenes, the image quality of this periscope telephoto is quite good, not only can it achieve good image quality at 3.5x zoom, but it can also show rich image details at a focal length equivalent of 270mm (10x), and it can also shoot relatively good-looking close-up portraits.
In night scenes, it also performs quite well, although the ISO will be pulled to a relatively high level, but it still maintains good image quality, and with a relatively fast shutter speed, the success rate of actual shooting is good, and the combination of the picture is quite satisfactory.
Looking at the ultra-wide, this ultra-wide is also quite close to the Ultra's performance during the day, but at night it is limited by the sensor configuration, and the image quality is slightly lower.
Overall, the Huawei Pura 70 Pro+'s image performance is still at the "Pro+" level, and although it is still far from the top-notch "Ultra", it is already excellent in daily use.
Enhancement of image functionality

In terms of parameters, the periscope telephoto of the Huawei Pura 70 Ultra also supports a minimum focusing distance of 5cm, which also allows it to create a more different angle of view, allowing us to see a different microscopic world. However, it is also interesting to say, although the F2.1 large aperture configuration is a very good configuration for daily shooting, but when shooting macro, it will "lag behind", I wonder if Huawei also has the ability to put the variable aperture on the telephoto end?
The HUAWEI PURA 70 series also has one of its signature camera skills, and that is the unique flash shooting feature. At first, we thought that this feature would be strongly bound to the main camera with a large aperture + large bottom sensor, but surprisingly, we can actually enable this feature with different focal lengths, and get a good capture effect, especially when shooting laterally moving objects.
However, it should also be noted that when it captures objects moving vertically and at high speed, although it can achieve very accurate capture, some bar patterns will appear due to the way CMOS reads, and it can also be seen that Huawei has indeed "exhausted" the hardware level of the sensor. In addition, after all, flash shooting is still a scene that emphasizes high shutter speed and high sensitivity, so if it is at night or indoors and other occasions that require long exposure times, it is better not to force it.
More powerful communication capabilities
With the image out of the way, let's take a look at the satellite communications capabilities that have been upgraded again on the Pura 70 series. To be honest, when I first came into contact with this feature, I didn't think there were many points worth exploring about this feature, it was nothing more than a regular upgrade such as upgrading the signal, reducing power consumption and improving stability, after all, pure satellite communication can only be used as an emergency means, and the function itself is very good and advanced, but it can also make people feel frightening.
