According to the unified arrangement and deployment of the Zhenping County Flood Control Headquarters, on April 28, the Qutun Town People's Government organized personnel from the town organs, cadres from Bao Village, emergency rescue militia, medical personnel, and cadres from Louziwang Village, Caoying Village, and Xingguosi Village to participate in the flood control drill in the Louziwang Village section of Qutun Town, Yanling River.
In this exercise, 21 emergency rescue militiamen, 15 village cadres, and 7 emergency rescue vehicles were organized. There are 20 sets of life-saving materials, 30 lifebuoys, 13 shovels, etc. The drill was carried out from three aspects: 1. The militia emergency response team was rescued and strengthened to plug the gap. 2. Village cadres investigate and evacuate the masses to a safe area. 3. Carry out medical rescue for the people besieged by the flood.
With the order of the commander-in-chief, the flood control drill officially kicked off. Accompanied by the sound of the siren, the emergency rescue militia, medical personnel, town and village cadres performed their duties, quickly launched action, and organized the masses in an orderly manner, especially the elderly, weak, sick, disabled and children, to evacuate to the resettlement sites according to the predetermined transfer route, and carried out medical treatment until the alarm was lifted and the drill was over. The drill was well organized, responded quickly, and dealt with effectively, and all groups coordinated and cooperated to quickly carry out flood prevention and rescue work, tested the pertinence, practicability and operability of the flood prevention emergency plan, further improved the ability of cadres and masses to flood prevention and avoid danger, and laid the foundation for flood prevention and actual combat.
