In view of the current flow of 160m³/s (excluding power generation flow of 55m³/s) of Liuxihe Reservoir, although the water level of the reservoir is no longer rising, but falling very slowly, the meteorological department predicts that there will still be heavy rainfall in the reservoir area in the next few days, in order to reduce the water level as soon as possible and leave enough flood control capacity for subsequent flood control, with the approval of the Municipal Defense General and the Municipal Water Affairs Bureau, the Liuxihe Reservoir will increase the discharge flow to 200m³/s (excluding the power generation flow of 55m³/ at 14 o'clock on April 27 / s) until the reservoir level drops to 80 cm (232.2 m) below the flood limit. Research and judgment of water affairs, hydrology and other departments: without considering rainfall, the road surface of the Liangkou Middle School section downstream of the increased discharge flow will be flooded by about 0.2 meters, and the embankment of Liuxi River will operate normally.
