Stojakovic was a top-25 high school player in the Class of 2023 and was selected to the 2023 McDonald's All-Star Game, where he finished No. 22 on the ESPN High School Top 100 list for the Class of 2023 and soared from outside the top 100 to the five-star edge after a strong spring and summer club game before the senior season.

Stojakovic sees Jaylon Tyson's success at Berkeley last season as a potential barometer of what he can do under Madsen, who was also a top-30 player in the nation in high school but didn't reach his potential at the University of Texas and Texas Tech until he played at Berkeley this season, averaging 19.6 points per game in 2023-24 to make a shot at the first round of the 2024 NBA Draft.
