Recently, the Yanji Xincun Sub-district Social Organization Service Center and the social work lecturer of Shanghai University of Urban Construction jointly carried out two social work practice (primary) trainings this year at the Yanji Xincun Sub-district Comprehensive Social Work Station.
The training was aimed at 17 cadres of neighborhood committees and employees of social organizations in the district, aiming to improve their professional ability in social work, efficiently prepare for the 2024 National Social Worker Examination, and contribute to Yangpu's social work talent pool. At the same time, the social work examination is taken as an opportunity to create a learning-oriented and bookish community in Yangpu.
"The examination cycle for assistant social workers is one year, and only those who pass two subjects in one year can obtain the professional qualification certificate of social workers. At the training meeting, the lecturer introduced the current situation of social work construction in Shanghai, and gave a comprehensive and in-depth introduction and combing of the 2024 syllabus of assistant social workers, past examinations, review elements, exam preparation strategies and problem solving ideas, and conducted interactive exchanges and Q&A on the important and difficult points in the exam.
In order to allow the students to better understand and master the relevant knowledge, the lecturer adopts the teaching method of "theory + case + real questions", which makes the training content vivid and practical. At the same time, the Yanji Xincun Sub-district Social Organization Service Center also carefully prepared the syllabus of the test center to help the candidates improve their test-taking ability and examination level through knowledge sorting and example question explanation.
The students listened attentively in the class, took notes carefully, actively participated in the interaction, and showed a high degree of enthusiasm and interest in learning. Everyone said that through this training, they not only deepened their understanding of social work services, but also improved their ability level and professional knowledge and skills. "I hope to apply the knowledge I have learned from books to practical work and help more people. One of the trainees said.
The successful holding of this training not only provides a platform for social workers in Yanji Xincun Street to learn and communicate, but also provides strong theoretical support and practical guidance for their future social work practice.
