At the Beijing Auto Show held a few days ago, Jietu Automobile brought Jietu Shanhai T1, Jietu Shanhai T2, Jietu Shanhai T5, as well as Jietu Shanhai L6 and Jietu Shanhai L7 five models appeared, and Jietu officially called it "Five Tiger Generals". Among them, the Jietu Shanhai T2 has been officially launched, while the Jietu Shanhai T1 and T5 are the first to make their debut, adding two more fierce generals to the hard-core SUV market.
Among them, the Shanhai T1 is positioned as a "comfortable off-road super-hybrid SUV", which will be equipped with a plug-in hybrid and a fully automatic intelligent four-wheel drive system, and is expected to be launched in the fourth quarter of 2024. Shanhai T5 is positioned as a "full-scene intelligent off-road super-hybrid SUV", with a hard-core off-road style on the outside, a non-load-bearing body structure, and a 2.0T turbocharged engine, which is reported to be launched in 2025.
In terms of appearance, Shanhai T1 adopts a family-style design language, with a square body shape and tough lines, which is quite hard-line. The front face is a one-piece design, with a complex black grille with integrated LED light strips, forming a through-line shape towards the eyes on both sides. The headlights on both sides have a petal-like design inside, which increases the sense of design and recognition.
From the side, the shape of the new car is relatively regular, with a wide D-pillar in the same color as the body, bringing the visual effect of a C-shaped floating roof. In addition, as a hard-core SUV, the Shanhai T1 is equipped with a roof rack, a large envelope throughout the car, wide side skirts, and rugged two-tone wheels, which add an off-road flavor. In terms of size, the data shows that the body length is close to 4.7 meters, the wheelbase reaches 2.8 meters, and the interior space is relatively spacious.
In terms of power, Shanhai T1 will be equipped with C-DM super hybrid +1DHT system, which can burst out with a comprehensive power of 450kW, equipped with XWD automatic intelligent four-wheel drive and tooth embedded differential lock, bringing stronger off-road performance. In addition, JITU also provides a variety of body color schemes and modification ecology to meet the individual needs of users.
The Shanhai T5 focuses on hard-core off-road, and it is also the first model with a girder in Jietu Automobile. In terms of appearance, the new car has a larger body, with tough lines and a large number of off-road suits, showing a strong off-road atmosphere. Specifically, the front face of the new car also adopts a one-piece design, with a black grille connected to the blackened headlights, and a rugged racing bar underneath, which is full of off-road momentum.
As a hard-core off-road, Shanhai T5 is equipped with wide trapezoidal wheel arches, large-size off-road tires, rear suspension spare tires, side skirt pedals, and can also be equipped with branching cables, roof spotlights, roof racks, ladders, etc., which not only enhances the visual effect, but also greatly improves off-road performance.
In terms of power, Shanhai T5 adopts a non-load-bearing body, equipped with a 2.0T turbocharged engine, with a 2DHT hybrid gearbox and a 2-speed P4 motor, with a comprehensive system power of 560kW, a total torque of up to 795Nm, and an official 000 acceleration of 4.6 seconds, and equipped with a central differential lock and front and rear tooth embedded differential locks, bringing stronger off-road performance, for off-road enthusiasts, another exciting choice.
