In order to solidly promote the smooth development of first-grade teaching and help teachers to have a deep understanding of the learning status and psychological needs of kindergarten children, Liwan Primary School held two unique group discussion activities for teachers to enter the kindergarten and observe the class in the conference room on the sixth floor of the school on the afternoon of April 23. Vice President Zheng Aihui, Director of the Party Office Luo Haishan, and Deputy Director of the Teaching Office Yu Xiao attended the scene to participate in and have in-depth discussions with the teachers.
In the early stage of activity planning, each group closely focused on the "Ministry of Education on vigorously promoting the scientific connection between kindergarten and primary school guidance", "kindergarten admission preparation education guidance points" and "primary school admission adaptation education guidance points" three core guidance documents, carried out in-depth and detailed discussions and careful preparations, and constantly improve and refine the kindergarten teachers need to observe the list and interview questions, this list covers the children's physical and mental preparation, social preparation, The four aspects of learning preparation and life preparation are designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of children's preparation before entering primary school.
In this seminar, Liwan Primary School divided the prospective primary one teachers into two large groups, and each large group was further subdivided into three groups, which were divided into two independent sessions, of which the first activity was presided over by Teacher Xia Hanbi and the second activity was presided over by Teacher Zhu Menghan.
At the beginning of the activity, teachers Zhu Yutong, Zhu Shuoxin, Bei Wenjun, Yi Nan, Xie Xiaoying, Zhang Zhiying, and Ma Jingnan respectively used PPT and mind maps, two intuitive and efficient tools, to make a detailed report on the key points that need to be observed by kindergarten teachers. In the process of presentation, they not only demonstrated their in-depth understanding of kindergarten education, but also showed other teachers how to effectively use observation skills to assess children's development through rich cases and practical experience.
In order to further refine and accurately enter the observation points of the kindergarten, the teachers actively carried out brainstorming activities. In the brainstorming activity, teachers actively spoke, brainstormed, and worked in small groups to discuss how to observe the behavior of kindergarten students more effectively, and reported on this.
Finally, the teachers set out to refine the mind map, and in the process of refinement, they systematically organized and summarized the results of the discussion, resulting in a detailed and comprehensive list of observation points. This checklist will serve as an important reference for teachers to enter the kindergarten for observation and provide strong support for their professional growth.
Through brainstorming activities and the refinement of mind maps, teachers have a deeper knowledge and understanding of the observation points of kindergarten education. They will enter the kindergarten in a more comprehensive and detailed way to provide more accurate and effective support for the education and development of young children.
Subsequently, Luo Haishan and Yu Xiao expressed their views in turn. Ms. Lo reviewed the discussions in the teachers' brainstorming sessions and sorted out the key points and suggestions put forward by the teachers in a clear manner. These valuable opinions and suggestions are of great guiding significance for the development of the school's transition between primary and young children. She encouraged teachers to continue to think positively and have the courage to explore, so as to contribute more to the work of bridging primary and secondary schools. Yu Xiao first praised and affirmed each group that showed its unique style and the meticulous work of the teachers in the early stage. She reminded the team leader and team members to work closely together to explore the strengths of different members and make greater contributions to the transition between primary and young children.
At the end of the event, Zheng Aihui drew a perfect end to the whole event with an insightful speech.
