On April 26, the 2024 Zhongguancun Forum Annual Conference - Global Science and Technology Cluster Innovation Forum with the theme of "Gathering Scientific and Technological Forces to Lead Urban Development" was successfully held, where well-known experts and scholars at home and abroad jointly discussed the development laws, evolution trends, opportunities and challenges of global science and technology clusters, and provided strategic inspiration and action paths for building a more open, interconnected and shared global science and technology innovation network. This event is one of the series of forums of the "Artificial Intelligence Theme Day" of the 2024 Zhongguancun Forum Annual Conference. Yang Renquan, deputy secretary of the Haidian District Party Committee, attended the forum and gave a special speech.
The parallel forum was hosted by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Beijing Municipal People's Government, organized by the WIPO Office in China, the Chinese Academy of Science and Technology Development Strategy, the People's Government of Haidian District, and Zhongguancun Development Group, and co-organized by Beijing Zhongguancun Science and Technology Service Co., Ltd.
At the forum, regional representatives, experts and scholars of global science and technology clusters shared their practical experience and successful cases in the innovation and development of science and technology clusters, and deeply discussed key issues such as innovation ecology, policy support, talent training and industry-university-research cooperation of science and technology clusters, providing useful reference and enlightenment for the development of science and technology clusters in various countries.
Yang Renquan made a speech entitled "Exploration and Reflection on the Development of Beijing's "Three Cities and One District" Science and Technology Cluster" at the Global Science and Technology Cluster Innovation Forum, elaborating on the three advantages of "Three Cities and One District" in improving the level of scientific and technological innovation, promoting the high-quality development of the capital, and optimizing the business environment, and shared the remarkable achievements of Haidian District in promoting the development of "Three Cities and One District" science and technology cluster in recent years. He said that Haidian District is the core area of Beijing International Science and Technology Innovation Center, and as an important part of the main platform of "Three Cities and One District", it actively explores and actively promotes the development of Beijing's "Three Cities and One District" science and technology cluster, forming new understanding, new exploration and new ideas.
Yang Renquan introduced in detail the practice of Haidian District in promoting the industrial linkage development of science and technology clusters in "three cities and one district", the construction of new platforms and new carriers, working mechanisms and policy innovations, and put forward a new idea of continuously exploring the development of science and technology clusters in "three cities and one district". He said that Haidian will focus on strengthening the national strategic scientific and technological strength, focusing on promoting the deep integration of the innovation chain, industrial chain, capital chain, and talent chain, focusing on building an artificial intelligence industry highland with global influence, focusing on working together to optimize and upgrade the innovation ecology, accelerate the cultivation of new quality productivity, make new contributions to Chinese-style modernization, and provide new solutions for the development of global science and technology clusters.
The forum also held a high-level dialogue on "Experience in the Innovation and Development of Global Science and Technology Clusters and Its Enlightenment to China", and discussed the practical significance of the innovation and development of science and technology clusters.
