Recently, the People's Government of Dayang Township and the Hanjiang District Meteorological Bureau signed a meteorological service contract for weather modification operations, and the two sides will work together to continuously improve the service guarantee capacity of weather modification operations, and improve the local meteorological service level and disaster prevention and mitigation capabilities.
Dayang Township attaches great importance to the development of meteorological undertakings, and vigorously carries out the demonstration construction of characteristic agricultural meteorological science and technology services by relying on the comprehensive capacity building project of the provincial smart meteorological guarantee project and the rural ecological industry revitalization platform of Dayang Township. At present, the construction of 1 national regional automatic meteorological station (Ruiyun Mountain Scenic Area), 1 standardized multi-element regional automatic meteorological station (Dayang Township Station) and 1 farmland microclimate observation station (Chekou Village Rice Research Base) has been completed in Dayang Township.
At the same time, the township also took the initiative to seek funds to add a ground smoke stove shadow operation point, which is expected to be completed and put into use in June this year, which will be able to effectively improve the local climate and environment, further alleviate the shortage of water resources, improve disaster prevention and mitigation capabilities and promote local agricultural growth.
In 2022, Dayang Township awarded the plaque of "Fujian Climate High-quality Agricultural Products" to the Loquat Garden of Yuanpu Village, Dayang Township, and evaluated the climate quality of the "Jiefang Bell" variety loquat produced in the loquat garden in 2022 as "excellent", and actively explored "meteorology + agriculture + insurance" New service model, research and development of weather index insurance products such as loquat cold and frost damage, cooperation with Chinese People's Insurance Putian Hanjiang Branch Company to promote the city's first loquat low temperature meteorological index insurance project landing in the ocean; actively explore the development and utilization of rural climate resources, tap the potential of characteristic climate resources, improve the quality of climate service supply, and in 2022, it was awarded the title of "Fresh Fujian • Climate Blessed Land" and Fujian Province "Climate Health and Welfare Land".
