Recently, the Dongcheng Youth League District Committee and the Youth League Committee of the Central Youth League School carried out the theme group day activity of "Inheriting the May Fourth Torch and Gathering the Power of Youth" to commemorate the 105th anniversary of the May Fourth Movement and the theme of the Dongcheng Communist Youth League "Youth Propaganda Group" entering the Central Youth League School.
In the lecture, 9 members from the "Youth Propaganda Group" of the Dongcheng Communist Youth League shared the typical deeds of their respective posts one by one. At the scene, young teachers and students from the Central Youth League School and members of the "Youth Propaganda Group" had a heated discussion and experience exchange on issues such as volunteer service and grassroots social governance.
On the same day, the "Youth Propaganda Group" also walked into the exhibition hall of the history of the Chinese youth movement and visited the theme exhibition of the history of the youth movement in the past century under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, so as to systematically and comprehensively understand the development process of the Chinese youth movement. Subsequently, the theoretical learning center group of the Youth League and District Committee carried out special studies around General Secretary Xi Jinping's speech at the meeting to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the May Fourth Movement, and conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions in combination with the feelings and experiences of visiting the theme exhibition.
According to reports, through this activity, the exchange and linkage of school-local league organizations have been further strengthened, so that more young students can better understand Dongcheng, and more young students have been inspired to enter Dongcheng, share the development opportunities of the core area, and jointly contribute youth wisdom and strength to the high-quality development of the core area.
In the next step, the Youth League District Committee will take this theme group day activity as an opportunity to focus on the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and the 105th anniversary of the May Fourth Movement, upgrade and build the work brand of the "Youth Propaganda Group" of the Dongcheng Communist Youth League, continue to go deep into the grassroots frontline, go deep into the majority of young people, and talk about the party's theories, lines, principles and policies in the form of focused, interactive and face-to-face preaching. The exciting great achievements of the new era also tell the fiery practice and sparkling struggle stories of young people from all walks of life in Dongcheng District, and actively guide the majority of League members and young people in Dongcheng to vigorously carry forward the mission value of the core area, comprehensively deepen the "six forces improvement", and strive to write a new chapter of Chinese-style modernization in Dongcheng.
