In order to further consolidate the main responsibility of production safety in the jurisdiction, curb the frequent occurrence of accidents, and prevent and resolve major safety risks, Cangtai Town organized forces to carry out a large-scale investigation and rectification of potential safety hazards in primary and secondary schools and kindergartens in the town.
The first is to investigate and rectify. The town emergency management office, in conjunction with the market supervision and management institute, the central school, and the fire center, shall carry out a thorough investigation of potential safety hazards on campus, find potential safety hazards according to the division of labor of industry departments, and rectify the potential safety hazards on the spot if they can be rectified on the spot, and arrange a reasonable time for timely rectification according to the school's own situation if they cannot be rectified on the spot.
The second is to focus on the key points. For schools with board and lodging, it is important to check the hygiene of the operation room, the purchase of food source bills, whether the rice and noodles are mildewed, whether the vegetables are fresh, the samples of food and records, and whether the three preventions are in place; whether the escape and evacuation marks of the dormitory aisles and stairs are damaged, whether there are obstacles, whether the smoke detector is in normal use, whether the fire extinguisher is expired, the accompanying teachers are on duty, and whether the classrooms and dormitories with window guards are dismantled in place to ensure school food safety and fire safety.
The third is to improve the mechanism. In order to prevent safety risks, urge all schools to establish an emergency response mechanism, carry out corresponding prevention drills in a timely manner, set up an emergency team, prepare an emergency plan, report in a timely manner in case of emergencies, and do a good job in emergency response.
Up to now, all primary and secondary schools and kindergartens in the jurisdiction have investigated 45 potential safety hazards, 40 have been rectified on the spot, and the remaining potential safety hazards are being rectified.
