Pure electric big G, off-road totem electrified evolution
As a new member of Mercedes-Benz's all-electric family, the all-new all-electric G-Class brings a number of iconic designs of the electrification era, such as a light-emitting front grille LED wrap-around light strip, an exclusive electric blue body color, and an exclusive small schoolbag for the charging gun. But despite this, we can still recognize this as a Mercedes-Benz big G at a glance, because it continues the pure family genes and brings the classic aesthetic of the G-class into the electric era. The iconic box-shaped shape, the classic round headlights, the trapezoidal turn signals on the bonnet, and the uniquely shaped door handles are also carried over to the electrified model, even with the G-Class's unique closing sound.
The all-electric G-Class uses four independently controllable wheel motors, which can provide a peak power of 432kW and a peak torque of 1,164Nm, and accelerate to 100 km/h in just 4.7 seconds. Because of the blessing of four independent wheel motors, the pure electric G-class supports the G-Turn function, that is, the U-turn function on the spot, and it is high-speed in-place steering, which is a great test of the torque distribution and stability control of the motor. In addition, it also supports the G-Steering function, which locks the inner rear wheels with the wheel side motor, effectively reducing the turning radius of the vehicle when driving on unpaved roads, allowing the big man to maneuver flexibly on rough roads.
What's even more impressive is still the off-road performance, the minimum ground clearance of the pure electric G-class can reach 250mm, the approach angle can reach 32°, and the departure angle can reach 30.7°. It is also capable of achieving 100% (45° slope) climbing ability on suitable road surfaces, and can still move forward or backward stably on slopes with a slope of 35°. The maximum wading depth of the vehicle is 850 mm, which is 150 mm more than the petrol version.
In terms of range, the all-electric G-segment will be equipped with a 116 kWh battery pack, with an all-electric range of up to 570 km (CLTC mode). It supports up to 11kW AC charging and up to 200kW DC charging power, and it only takes 32 minutes to charge from 10% to 80%.

The Mercedes-Benz CLA-Class Concept shows off the future of electrification
The Mercedes-Benz CLA-Class Concept showcased the Mercedes-Benz Modular Architecture (MMA) platform and the new MB.OS operating system, a self-developed new architecture, for electrification and digitalization.
The MMA platform adopts a full-range 800-volt high-voltage platform, Mercedes-Benz's self-developed new high-efficiency electric drive unit MB.EDU, highly integrated electric motor, two-speed gearbox and electronic control system, and the energy conversion efficiency from the battery to the wheels is as high as 93%, achieving excellent energy consumption as low as about 12 kWh per 100 kilometers and a cruising range of more than 750 kilometers (WLTP mode). The MMA platform supports DC fast charging of up to 300 kW, which can add 400 km of range in 15 minutes. The first production car of the MMA platform will be the first to be produced in China in 2025 and will be designed to be extended.
MB. OS is independently developed by Mercedes-Benz, which can cover the new architecture from the vehicle end to the cloud, and is the "central nervous system" of every Mercedes-Benz car in the future.
