I did not stay long in the company, but on July 2, 1962, I arrived in Liangxiang, Beijing, on July 26, I left camp and went to Xining, Qinghai, and on August 6, I arrived at the Nantan Military Horse Farm. On August 28, I ended my two-month military career in the 1st Company and was transferred to the 47th Regiment Headquarters Service Company as a security officer◦ Until June 1963, when I bid farewell to the guard class, I was transferred to the Engineering Communication Company directly under the 10th Division of the Railway Corps.

In 1965, he caught up with the opportunity to apply for the university, and in August 1965, he was admitted to the engineering department of Shijiazhuang Railway Military Academy to study mechanical engineering. I am very glad that my life has been smooth sailing, and very few of my classmates have been admitted to university after graduating from high school, and most of them have gone to the countryside to become educated youth. It was a great honor for me to be able to join the army as a soldier and be admitted to the military academy, which made my classmates envious. Not only won glory for my parents, but also won glory for my classmates, because I was a soldier of the first company, and I also won glory for the first company!

Today, I want to tell you the happiest thing of my life. That is, in October 1966, our college received a notice from our superiors that all our teachers and students should go to Beijing to attend the National Day ceremony for the 17th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China! The whole school was boiling, and everyone was overjoyed and rushed to tell each other: We are going to Beijing to meet the great leader Chairman Mao!
All the teachers and students of the school went to Beijing and lived in the compound at No. 14 Fuxing Road, the Ministry of Railways and Soldiers. On the afternoon of September 30, 1966, all the teachers and students set off into Tiananmen Square and rushed to the designated meeting place. At night, he sat on the ground in the square, and the square was crowded with people, full of joy and jubilation. A loudspeaker has been ringing over the square, transmitting a series of revolutionary songs such as "The sea sails by the helmsman" and "The sky and the earth are big". Hundreds of thousands of soldiers and civilians gathered together and looked forward to the arrival of tomorrow's National Day ceremony!

In Beijing in October, the golden autumn season is sunny and the autumn is high and cool. On 1 October, it was another sunny day, and everything paved the way for the National Day activities! In the morning, hundreds of thousands of people in Tiananmen Square, in accordance with the requirements of the activities, actively cooperated with the planes to take pictures of scenic spots, took turns to carry out various manners and actions, and worked hard to take pictures of the historical and true records!
The most exciting moment has arrived. At ten o'clock on the National Day, with the beautiful "Dongfang Hong" music, Chairman Mao and party and state leaders climbed the Tiananmen Tower one after another, Chairman Mao, Lin Biao, Premier Zhou Enlai, Liu Shaoqi, Zhu De and other party and state leaders came to the celebration venue!
Chairman Mao was in high spirits and beckoned to the revolutionary masses. The entire Tiananmen Square burst into thunderous applause, and the cheers of "Long live Chairman Mao" resounded throughout the night. It is a pity that we are too far away, and there are so many people that we cannot get closer to Chairman Mao and Premier Zhou!
From the afternoon of September 30 to the time we left the square on the morning of October 2, we spent 47 hours in Tiananmen Square. It was the happiest and most memorable moment of our lives. Now, Chairman Mao has left us for almost 50 years, but his old man will always live in our hearts, and we will always miss Chairman Mao!
