After learning the news of the successful identification of the remains, his stepson Yu Mingsheng was very happy, and waited for the name engraved on the tablet to go to the memorial service, but he did not expect that there would be an epidemic in 2023, and Yu Mingsheng would unfortunately pass away. The younger brother of the martyr Yu Baosheng, the 84-year-old Mr. Yu Jianyang, was in a hurry, because Yu Mingsheng left before him when he was younger, and he was very worried about whether he would have the opportunity to see his brother's grave, and he had a lot of heartfelt words to confide in his brother! In 2023, he was anxious to go with me to the Dongfeng Festival, because the name had not been engraved on the tablet, so it was not done. This time, I heard that the name was engraved on the monument, and I couldn't wait to let my son-in-law buy a plane ticket and train ticket. The old gentleman thought that the cemetery was in Jiuquan and bought a ticket to Jiuquan, but in fact, the cemetery was not in Jiuquan. Considering that Mr. Yu is old and has high blood pressure, if there is any accident in a hurry, the responsibility will be great, so he decided to accommodate Mr. Yu to go. Since the old gentleman is going, why don't you contact a few other martyrs, can you go with a few families to reduce the trouble for the reception party? The two families of martyrs in Dong'a, Shandong Province, were also in a hurry to pay their respects, so they prepared three families to go together. None of the three relatives had ever been there, and the journey was far away, and they were worried, so they all wanted me to accompany them. I was hesitant because I was tired from the journey and I was really tired from writing until one or two o'clock every night. Considering that this family search has been going on for four years and two months, it is also common sense to accompany you one last time.
The leaders of Sichuan Deyang Veterans Affairs Bureau and Shandong Dong'e Veterans Affairs Bureau actively contacted and finally decided that we would set off from Changsha, Deyang and Dong'e respectively, gather at Lanzhou Station on the evening of the 13th, and arrive on the morning of the 14th.

Worried and the martyrs have prepared the pennant, since learning that the name is written on the stele, Mr. Yu's temperament has become impatient, for the pennant, sleepless night, repeated audits, found that the pennant has a typo, the printed thank you letter has a typo to blame the descendants, the descendants are under great pressure. This kind of urgent mood, in case there is no leader to pick up the flag after arriving, wouldn't it be embarrassing!
Sitting on the high-speed train, I was worried that I would have to turn back in case something happened to the reception, and the eldest of these families, the oldest of whom was 84 years old, and the youngest was still in kindergarten, what should I do? How big would the blow to the relatives be? Who would bear the refund fee for the loss? I was also worried that if there was no leader to receive the pennant, wouldn't the mood of the martyrs' families drop to the freezing point?
On the evening of the 12th, when I arrived in Lanzhou, Mr. Yu Jianyang and I stayed in the same hotel, waiting for the arrival of the two martyrs in Dong'a. At this time, I finally got the exact news from the Dong'a Veterans Affairs Bureau, and someone came to pick up the station, so I was relieved, so I was sure to arrange for my relatives to buy flowers online and bring them into the cemetery.
On the afternoon of the 13th, the three martyrs met at Lanzhou Station, and everyone was very happy. After 65 years of sacrifice, the relatives can finally go to the sacrifice to fulfill their wishes!
My mood suddenly became sad, all kinds of twists and turns in the past four years, all kinds of grievances that I couldn't speak, and seeing that other people's martyrs were accompanied by young people, and I, a 74-year-old lady, were alone,...... In short, the complicated and indescribable mood finally couldn't help but release it, and I cried in the waiting hall. Fortunately, thanks to the kind words and comfort of the martyrs, they slowly calmed down. It turns out that I am not as strong as I imagined, and there will still be times when I collapse!
I finally regained my composure, adjusted my mood, and prepared to set off again.
I slept on the train all night, and the desert morning sun, shining golden, was reflected on my face.
Arrived in Dongfeng on the morning of the 14th. Leaders arrived at the station to greet them. After breakfast, I first visited the Railway Exhibition Hall, and I introduced the basic situation of the construction of the Qinglu Railway by the 10th Railway Division in the outdoor exhibition square.

From April to June 1958, the 10th Division of the Railway Corps successively entered Qingshui County, Jiuquan City, Gansu Province, and began to build the Qing (Shui) Green (Park) Railway. The Iron Tenth Division lost a total of twenty dead (probably more than that). Of the five who had moved into the Dongfeng Martyrs Cemetery one after another, the six whose remains were successfully identified this time, a total of eleven were buried in the Dongfeng Martyrs Cemetery, and nine were not found.
Why do we insist on searching for the relatives of the martyrs, why do we insist on doing the identification of human remains?
The martyrs thought that the bones of the faithful were buried everywhere in Qingshan, so why bother to return the body of the horse leather. They didn't think about what was going on, and we can't help but think about it for them. Their relatives are very eager to find them, to be able to go to the grave and weep bitterly! More than 60 years have passed, and we should help our relatives realize their wishes!
At the same time, it is also about delivering on promises. From the time we put on the red scarf, we raised our little fists and promised that "the motherland and the people will not forget you!" and that the motherland and the people are made up of Chinese, including us. If each of us Chinese fails to fulfill our promises, then one day in the future, when the country is in danger, who will be the soldier and who will fight?
The Qinglu Railway was a classified railway, which was not declassified until 1999. At that time, the officers and men of the 10th Iron Division only knew that this was a secret railway, but did not know the specific purpose. They "do not tell their parents, they do not tell their wives and children", they enter secretly. By the time it was declassified, many of the old comrades had already passed away. Therefore, our four-year family search activity has attracted the attention of the veteran comrades and descendants of the 10th Railway Division and all the railway soldiers. In the search for relatives, we have received strong support and help from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, the Gansu Provincial Party Committee, the Gansu Provincial Public Security Department, the 20th Bureau of China Railway, and the Veterans Affairs Bureau of the martyrs' hometowns. At least one or two hundred people from all walks of life helped in the process of searching for relatives.
