On April 26, Chengdu officially entered the time of the World Horticultural Expo. The main venue has seven districts, six halls and 100 gardens, and has set up 6 indoor venues and 113 outdoor exhibition gardens, including the Comprehensive Service Hall, the Main Exhibition Hall, the Jinyun Building, the Tianfu Habitat Pavilion, the Botanical Pavilion and the International Friendship Pavilion.
Behind the colorful and diverse designs of each exhibition area, the designers, builders and stores of the park are working hard to present a horticultural feast for Chengdu citizens and tourists.
In Haikou Garden, Tan Xiao, the person in charge of construction, used coconut shells and coconut skins as construction materials, allowing citizens to feel the customs of Coconut Island thousands of miles away; in Chongqing Garden, nearly a quarter of the nearly 200 plants used by chief designer Tao Li are native plants of Sichuan and Chongqing; and young people from Chengdu after the 90s opened a coffee shop at the World Garden venue, hoping to show the beauty and charm of the World Horticultural Exhibition to citizens and tourists.

In the 3,690-square-meter Shanghai Exhibition Park, which blends Eastern and Western cultures, there is a special coffee shop hidden - "Le Fan · Funcups”。
"I've been working on the coffee shop for a few months, and it's going to open tomorrow. Ji Zhengwen, born in the 90s, is the founder of the Lefan coffee brand and graduated from Sichuan Fine Arts Institute.
"Coffee has a variety of flavors, for example, Geisha coffee has a rose aroma, and these 'floral notes' depend on the temperature, soil, light and other factors when the beans are grown. Lefan Coffee is the first coffee shop in Chengdu that Ji Zhengwen has landed, and he hopes to use the flavor of coffee to show the beauty and charm of the World Horticultural Exhibition to citizens and tourists.

Surrounded by clouds and mist, gurgling water, deciduous duckweed, the Shanghai Garden is full of the unique style of the south of the Yangtze River. In Ji Zhengwen's view, drinking coffee and tea are similar, and they also need some "atmosphere", so the coffee shop integrates Chengdu's local culture. "The coffee container we use is the Chengdu bamboo bowl made of national intangible cultural heritage skills, and the most distinctive bamboo tables and bamboo chairs in the old Chengdu teahouse are placed by the lake. ”

On April 26, Tan Xiao, the person in charge of the construction of Haikou Park, carefully inspected every detail in the park. Tan Xiao introduced that Haikou Park is themed "Eye of the South China Sea", and the park is divided into five exhibition areas: "Into the Eye", "Swimming on the Shore", "Sailing", "Exploration" and "Chasing Dreams", which run through coconut groves, wetlands, rainforests and free trade ports.
In addition to the endless sea, Hainan also has coconut groves all over the island. At the entrance of Haikou Park, the word "Hi" expresses the enthusiasm of Haikou. The landscape wall uses coconut shells as the material, abandoning the common coconut trees in the past, forming a unique "coconut grove sea breeze" art installation at the entrance, and the coconut homonym "Ouye" conveys a joyful mood.

"Sun-dried coconut skin is used as the pavement material at the 'swimming shore' to create a mangrove biomimetic wetland. Mangrove forests are one of Hainan's unique ecosystems and have important ecological functions, which not only showcases Hainan's natural beauty, but also reminds people to protect and cherish mangrove wetlands. "The shape of the exhibition hall is inspired by shells, and the appearance is made of stainless steel mirrors, reflecting the charm of Hainan's ecological rainforest, integrating the exhibition hall with the rainforest, and also symbolizing Hainan's openness and tolerance. Tan Xiao pointed to the shell-shaped building to explain. At the same time, the exhibition hall serves as a multi-functional place that can host a variety of activities, including a book bar, a café and an exhibition hall.

With the design theme of "Colorful Mountain City, Full of Flowers and Human Settlements", the Chongqing Garden of the World Horticultural Expo highlights the characteristics of the mountains and traces the typical geographical characteristics of the mountain city and the river city.
"Five theme gardens have been formed in the form of beads and chains, including the riverside grass bank garden, the colorful terrace garden, the Yupai bonsai garden, the Ningxia wild fun garden and the five gardens of flower viewing. (Park) fully display the horticultural content and new excellent varieties and scientific research plant varieties.
