After Yu Fankun was woken up, he was immediately furious and had a big fight with his girlfriend. The girlfriend was originally out of kindness, but after being scolded by him, of course, it was also a belly fire, and in the end, the two had a serious quarrel, and there was a faint tendency to do it.
In the end, it was only after the neighbors came to persuade them to quarrel that the two stopped arguing. Yu Fan Kun was angry, slammed the door and left, and casually found a tavern to buy drunk.
As the saying goes, borrowing wine to eliminate sorrow is even more sorrowful, thinking about the unhappiness of quarreling with my girlfriend today, and all kinds of unhappiness after being transferred to the mountain village. He asked again and again in his heart why he had to be sent to a place where such birds don't, blaming the Seoul police for their mercenary intentions.
Thinking about it, Yu Fankun's anger swelled more and more, and finally the demon that had been suppressed in his heart for many years finally woke up. He had the idea of revenge on society, but Seoul was too far away from here, so who should he vent his anger to?
recalled that when she and her girlfriend quarreled just now, the neighbors were all biased towards her, and accused herself of drinking and beating women, and laughed at herself for being a waste policeman. In Yu Fankun's heart, he began to hate every person in the village, and he wanted to punish these ordinary people who had no eyes and let them see how powerful they were.
At around half past nine that night, Yu Fankun, who was very drunk, came to the police station. When his colleagues saw that he had drunk too much again, they all avoided him for fear of getting on fire, and no one cared what he was doing at the police station. As a result, Yu Fankun easily came to the armory, and then took two carbines, 180 rounds of live ammunition and seven home-made bombs.
Surprisingly, the drunk Yu Fankun had a clear idea. He first broke into the telephone office, killed the Sanming telephone operator, and cut off Yining County's external communications, before starting a massacre.
With his identity as a policeman, the residents would not have any suspicion at all when they saw his uniform, and Yu Fankun smoothly entered the houses and then shot and killed innocent civilians one by one.
For eight hours, after killing a certain number of people in one village, Yu Fankun ran to another village to continue the massacre. In this way, in five villages, he killed a total of 62 people.
Since the carbine was taken away by Yu Fankun, the Yining County police relied on the only small pistol left, and the firepower could not compete with him at all. However, the communication was cut off again, and he had to travel overnight to other cities to bring rescue troops.
As a result, it was not until May 30 the next day, when the sky was about to break, that the South Korean armed police force rushed to Yining County and drove Yu Fankun into the mountains.
In the end, Yu Fankun saw that there was no hope of escape, and in desperation, he tied two grenades to his body, hugged the three hostages and lit the fuse, and died with the hostages.
This vicious case had a very bad impact at the time and aroused public outrage among the whole people. The police chief at the time was not present for a trip, which caused the police to be slow to dispatch, and he was severely punished afterwards.
And the agitated South Korean people also strongly demanded the resignation of President Nai Doo-hwan and the prime minister. In the end, Minister of Internal Affairs Xu Tinghe resigned and was succeeded by Lu Taiyu, and the turmoil in this matter gradually subsided.
