On April 24, local time, Los Angeles, USA, director, screenwriter and starring Chris Pine appeared at the premiere of the movie "Pool Keeper". Pine, who was once a handsome Hollywood guy at the age of 43, wore a nude yellow suit on the red carpet, a cultural T-shirt printed with the word "I❤LA", a pink flower on his chest, shorts on his lower body, gray curly hair and a white beard to look like a sixty-year-old tramp.
In the film, Pine plays Darren, an unlucky man with dreams and aspirations to become a philosopher, who spends his days tending to the swimming pool in Los Angeles' Tahiti Totem apartment complex and attending uninvited city council meetings with two neighbors, Jack and Daniel. Darren then discovers that Los Angeles is facing the biggest water heist since Chinatown, and to do so, he strikes a precarious partnership with a well-connected femme fatale and deals with corrupt city officials, disheartened Hollywood-style nasty ghosts, and mysterious donors to track down every clue he holds in his hands — in the name of "protecting my precious Los Angeles."
Chris Pine's first film, "The Pool Keeper," will be released in North America on May 10.
