IT Home reported on April 26 that an American company will sell a robot dog equipped with a flamethrower "The Thermonator", which seems to be completely legal to own according to federal law in most states in the United States.
Cleveland, Ohio-based Throwflame is selling The Thermonator for $9,420 (IT House note: currently about 68,295 yuan). It is a quadruped robot companion with a flamethrower mounted on its back.
The robot dog is capable of laser aiming, has a range of up to 30 feet (about 9.144 meters), and can be controlled remotely from a mobile phone.
According to reports, the robot dog is equipped with the company's ARC flamethrower, which uses a plasma arc system to ignite gasoline fuel, which is officially said to be used for wildfire control and prevention, agricultural management, ecological protection, snow and ice removal, entertainment and special effects.
