Tai Hao, the third-level chief clerk of the Comprehensive Transportation Department of the Municipal Transportation Commission, said that it is expected that the passenger flow of railways, civil aviation, and inter-provincial passenger transport in and out of Beijing will be about 1.67 million passengers per day, an increase of 21% over 2019 and 6% over 2023, which is basically the highest peak of the "May Day" in previous years. The traffic volume of the expressway in and out of Beijing is expected to be an average of 3.1 million trips per day, and the main expressway in and out of Beijing will usher in a large traffic flow at the beginning and end of the May 1 and May 5 holidays. In the city, such as the key parks and scenic spots, the Forbidden City, the Summer Palace and the Shunyi New National Exhibition Area, where the Auto Show is located, traffic will also face greater pressure.

A number of metro lines will extend their operating hours, and 17 night bus lines departing from and passing through 7 railway stations will have sufficient vehicles and encrypted departure frequency. Guo Liuming said that the railway department did not authorize any third-party software to buy tickets. If there are no tickets on the official channel of 12306, there is no ticket on the third-party platform, and all users do not have the priority to buy tickets. The so-called "acceleration package" is actually implemented through waitlists, so the only way to do this is to submit waitlists. At present, each passenger can submit a ticket purchase request for 60 trains per order.
