She had just come out of the ivory tower and entered the grassroots door. Rooted in the community for 15 years, from the beginning of helplessness, collapse and crying, to now calmly faced, enthusiastic for the people, she has a "sincere heart", with a warm blood, indomitable, no hesitation, the tears of women swayed on the post;
Today, the deepest impression of residents on Li Xiaohua is: spicy, willing to work, and patient. In recent years, she has won the title of Outstanding Volunteer of Lei Feng in the Construction of Spiritual Civilization in Yuhua District, Outstanding Secretary of the Grass-roots Party Organization, Model of Women's Meritorious Service, "The Most Beautiful Woman", and Outstanding People's Congress;
With soil under your feet, you have a spectrum in your heart
- Residents recognize her as their daughter
During the day, she is the "pioneer cow" and "old cow" around the residents, and at night, she is the "godmother" in the mouth of the orphans and the "most familiar stranger" in the eyes of her son. How can the community "manage the sky at the top, the earth at the bottom, and the air in the middle"? The number of steps in the circle of friends exceeding 20,000 every day is the testimony of Li Xiaohua's measurement of the jurisdiction.
"There are 3 commercial centers, 4 property communities, more than 1,700 corporate stores, 38 houses and 6,400 permanent residents. Yiyuan community is located in Gaoqiao business district, in view of the characteristics of a large floating population, a large number of key people, and many complex contradictions in public security, Li Xiaohua took the initiative to worship the resident representatives as "teachers", and used his footsteps to "investigate and secretly visit" in the jurisdiction.
Zhou Xiuying, a centenarian in Shanghe International Community, Yiyuan Community, and Li Xiaohua are New Year's friends. The old man's firewood, rice, oil and salt are all her "top concerns". The old man takes turns living in his children's house, and every time he comes back, the old man comes to the community as soon as possible and chats with the "girl" Li Xiaohua. In order to support community work, the elderly asked their children to transfer their party membership to the community, and three generations of the family volunteered to become volunteers, and the community did not "drop the chain" when they needed them. After the old man died at the age of 102, Li Xiaohua didn't say a word, and tearfully helped deal with the aftermath.
"Gather opinions with feelings, seek answers with questions, overcome difficulties with responsibility, and unite people with determination. Li Xiaohua was born in the countryside and is well versed in the truth of "one hero and three gangs". 87-year-old Grandma Zhang suffers from diabetes and other diseases, and Li Xiaohua arranges for special people to come to the door every three or five times to give fruits, dumplings, noodles, etc. to the elderly with limited mobility. In order to help the elderly relieve their loneliness, Li Xiaohua also took the initiative to chat and read with the elderly.
There were 836 people over 60 years old, 63 people over 80 years old, and more than 30 people with disabilities...... Li Xiaohua is like a family treasure for all kinds of situations in the jurisdiction, and for special families, the community is "one household and one policy". Li Jianwen, who is over 70 years old, was diagnosed with early-stage cancer during a physical examination by a community family doctor. Li Xiaohua accompanied the elderly to Xiangya for medical treatment many times, and sent special personnel to visit the elderly twice a day in the morning and evening. After his condition improved, the elderly often took the time to deliver hot soup and braised vegetables to the community, and took the initiative to "eat their waists" for everyone.
Li Xiaohua's husband Hu Gang is also a community secretary, and the two are well-known "model couples" and "desperate families". At the end of last year, Li Xiaohua's father-in-law was hospitalized for 52 days due to illness, and Li Xiaohua was busy with affairs in the jurisdiction, and could only arrange for the courier brother to deliver meals every day, until the thirtieth day of the Chinese New Year's Eve, she blamed herself in her heart, and only made time for the discharge procedures of the father-in-law. Today, Li Xiaohua is already the "secretary of Yihu Baiying" and the "chief housekeeper" in the mouths of residents.
Volunteer for the people and do it in practice
- Orphans call her "godmother"
"Upstairs and downstairs are unknown, and the neighbors don't know their surnames", living in the same building, looking down and not looking up, but there is not much communication, how to solve this "urban apathy"?
Li Xiaohua created the "Yi Family" volunteer service brand, set up 16 volunteer service teams such as theoretical preaching and "Jun Zida", and served as the community No. 01 volunteer, and more than 3,000 volunteers in the jurisdiction, rushing to the front line of doing practical things for the masses, through exploring micro power, releasing micro projects, and claiming micro facts, leveraging social resources to complete the "gathering neighbors and dreaming of home" 45 practical matters of people's livelihood, such as the red station, resolved 26 conflicts and disputes, set up a warm post station, listened to the voices of residents, helped solve the problems of migrant personnel, set up a service team of more than 100 people, went from house to house to care for the empty nest elderly and special groups, and was happy to be "Building 110". In order to quickly understand the demands of the masses, she innovated and created the "Yihu Baiying" smart platform to integrate regional forces, so that residents can respond within half an hour if they have big or small things.
Li Xiaohua has made great efforts to build a "6+2 consultation and meeting platform" and added 120 parking spaces around the shops in the community; transformed the overgrown vacant land into a "Yiyue Maker Space"; raised 12 million yuan from various parties to improve the quality of 13 livelihood projects in the Shanghe Community; and in order to rectify the problem of illegal construction of the underground parking lot in the Shanghe International Community, she really hit the nail on the head and demolished the illegal buildings such as the freezer and billiards city to ensure the safety of residents. At the same time, she organized and carried out vocational training, employment guidance and other services to help unemployed residents find new jobs; raised more than 20 yuan in cash and materials to let the "new citizens" in difficulty "come to Yiyuan as a family"; and recovered 160,000 yuan in wages for 25 migrant workers, thus solving the "urgent, difficult, and longing" problems of thousands of people.
One for all, all for one. Yang Tongjian, a resident of Suining County, Shaoyang City, suffered an accident more than 10 years ago, and still needs steel pipe support in his body, his wife is sick and has to be dialysis every week, and a pair of children are still studying, and the high medical expenses make it difficult for the family to maintain. On the basis of community care, Li Xiaohua raised 40,000 yuan to help Yang Tongjian's wife seek medical treatment, and she also contacted Li Hongying, the owner of Li Yi Noodle Restaurant and a good person in Changsha, to place Yang Tongjian in the noodle restaurant for employment. Every time I saw Li Xiaohua on vacation, Yang Tongjian's children called her "mother" in unison. There is also a "de facto orphan" Xiaole (pseudonym), who took the initiative to call her "godmother......
Resident Liu, who originally held an important position in the enterprise, suffered from uremia and his family broke up; resident Li suffered a series of blows such as his daughter's natural disability and the death of her husband, Li Xiaohua volunteered to be a "godsister" to solve their problems. Over the past 15 years, she has paired up to help dozens of such families, raising more than 2.6 million yuan in donations and materials, helping to optimize the business environment, solving problems for enterprises such as Jingdong New Energy Vehicle World, Wujiang Life Plaza and Hema Mini Store, empowering the economic development of the jurisdiction, and winning unanimous praise from residents and business merchants.
In January 2021, Li Xiaohua fell and injured herself while mediating a property conflict in the community, and she rushed to the hospital after completing the mediation despite the pain in her heart, and was diagnosed with a comminuted fracture of her right elbow. The doctor asked her to rest for at least a month after the operation, but Li Xiaohua returned to work nine days later, and her right arm was hit with a steel plate and could not move, so she insisted on using her left hand to complete the work.
Chasing the light, and condensing the light

Many of the residents of Yiyuan community are Uygurs, Miao, Hui and Tujia ethnic minorities, so how can we ensure that ethnic minority compatriots can "enter, stay, live well, and integrate"?
Li Xiaohua has continuously upgraded the "Other Country Beauty Club", the first in Hunan Province to serve new citizens, and built a "pomegranate seed studio" for ethnic minority compatriots, which not only helps solve the problems of ethnic minority compatriots in employment and life, but also gathers their expertise and love to provide volunteer services for compatriots of other ethnic groups. For example, under the inspiration and guidance of the community, Zhong Jinyan, a representative of the Manchu nationality, volunteered as a tutor at the community party and mass service center to care for the spiritual growth of left-behind children; Wu Dongqing, a representative of the Miao nationality, shuttled through the streets and alleys to carry out voluntary labor and other volunteer services; and Ablaiti Maitiniyaz, a representative of the Uygur nationality, stood up many times in the face of flood fighting and emergency rescue and epidemic prevention and control.
Driven by example, the enthusiasm of the people of all ethnic groups to participate in the community self-government team has been high, and a good situation of living and learning together, working and having fun together has been formed. Today, ethnic minority volunteers can be seen in safety patrols, caring for empty nests, and removing ice and snow, and compatriots of 17 ethnic groups hug each other tightly like pomegranate seeds.
Li Xiaohua said that the general party branch of the community will continue to implement the "inter-embedded development plan for the masses of all ethnic groups", continuously improve the grid service management system, build a platform for exchanges, exchanges and integration, carry out publicity and education activities to forge the sense of community of the Chinese nation, and promote the all-round embedding of all ethnic groups in space, culture, economy, society and psychology, and build a happy garden with a beautiful environment, harmonious neighborhoods and civilized harmony with the power of national unity and progress.
For Li Xiaohua, he dedicated 15 years of youth to the grassroots, but only love and no regrets "never fade". She, like a beam of light, chases another light, lighting herself up and warming others.
