In accordance with the requirements of the "Notice on Doing a Good Job in the 2024 National Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Day of the Urban Management System of Heping District", the District City Appearance and Garden Service Center organized key post personnel, safety officers and heads of affiliated enterprises to carry out the "16th National Disaster Prevention and Reduction Day" publicity activities and conduct fire emergency drills.
The theme of the event is "Everyone Stresses Safety, Everyone Knows How to Respond to Emergencies - Strive to Improve Grassroots Disaster Prevention and Risk Avoidance Capabilities". This activity focuses on explaining the best escape time and precautions after a fire, the types and functions of fire safety tools, the selection of escape paths and the use of fire-fighting equipment. Subsequently, everyone experienced the use of water-based fire extinguishers, and carried out real-life escape and evacuation drills in accordance with the requirements. A few days ago, the Heping Power Supply Service Center of State Grid Tianjin Chengnan Company, together with Tianjin Poly Plaza and Heping District Fire and Rescue Detachment, carried out electricity-related fire safety drills, further integrated emergency rescue resources, strengthened power and fire joint logistics linkage cooperation, and improved the emergency rescue and support capabilities of enterprises in Heping District in the spring for electricity-related fire accidents.
The drill mainly simulated the joint emergency measures of electric power and fire fighting in the event of a fire danger in the shopping mall building. After the drill began, the rapid alarm sounded, and the fire inspection personnel found the initial fire and quickly activated the fire emergency plan in accordance with the emergency disposal procedures; the power staff instructed the Poly property staff to cut off the faulty power supply, carefully organize the on-site rescue work of the emergency drill, and coordinate the deployment of rescue personnel, materials and rescue vehicles.
