On April 25, the launching ceremony of the 2024 "Law of the People's Republic of China on the Prevention and Treatment of Occupational Diseases" publicity week in Rongshui Miao Autonomous County was held in the county sports park, with the theme of "Adhering to Prevention First, Guarding Occupational Health", focusing on improving the level of occupational health literacy of workers and protecting the rights and interests of occupational health, and popularizing occupational disease prevention and occupational health knowledge.
During the activity, through on-site explanations, hanging banners, and distributing leaflets and brochures, the majority of workers were guided to enhance their awareness of protection, master the necessary protection skills, strictly abide by the operating procedures, and ensure the correct use of occupational disease protective equipment and personal protective equipment at work, so that workers and employers can further understand their own main responsibilities for occupational health, and create a strong atmosphere of concern for occupational health in the whole society.
It is understood that Rongshui will continue to focus on improving the health literacy level of workers and protecting the rights and interests of workers' occupational health, taking occupational health as an important starting point and content to protect people's health in an all-round and full-cycle manner, while paying attention to 132 kinds of statutory occupational diseases in 10 categories, it is also paying attention to new occupational disease hazards, work-related musculoskeletal diseases and other diseases, and taking various forms to continue to popularize occupational health knowledge, create a strong atmosphere of concern for occupational health in the whole society, and promote the prevention and control of occupational diseases in Rongshui to a new level.
