And now that April has entered the second half of April, the sunshine rose in Yunnan has ushered in the market again, so what about its price?
A grower in Yunnan said frankly that this year's sunshine rose market is significantly lower, taking high-quality fruit as an example, as high as 55 yuan per catty in the same period last year, but this year it fell directly to 25 yuan a catty, a sharp drop of more than 50%. Lao Chen, a grower in Xichang, Sichuan, said that at that time, the planting area of Sunshine Rose was relatively small, and it was easy to earn 5-70,000 yuan or 7-100,000 yuan per acre.
However, since 2019, its price has begun to decline significantly, from the original 100 yuan a catty to 30 yuan a catty. In 2021, Sunshine Rose has fallen below 10 yuan a catty, and in 2023, it will fall to "10 yuan and 3 catties".

The planting cost of Sunshine Rose is relatively high, in addition to the expensive seedlings, from the thinning of flowers, thinning fruits, bagging, picking and other whole processes require labor, in addition to labor, material costs, after the price plummets, farmers will hardly have too much income.
